I really dislike arrogant guys (heck arrogant people in general) and I was never really a fan of the "bad boys" either!

What do women want?
Guys keep asking, women keep us guessing.
And that's why whenever a man is try to figure what a woman wants,
he often looks like a cat chasing a laser pointer.
Confused disoriented but strangely hopeful.

Women seem to want contradictory things in a man.
Women want a man who is ambitious, an achiever,
who is successful both professionally and financially; who is not materialistic.

Women want a man who is solid, steady, consistent and reliable
who is fun, unpredictable and spontaneous.
Women want a strong-willed decisive man who takes a stand and doesn’t waiver
as long as he’s flexible, open minded and can admit when he's wrong.

Women want a lot.
Women want a realist who is romantic.
A guy who is serious but playful.

Who’s confident but humble and horny but faithful.
Women want a man who is career driven, but family oriented.
Women also want a man who is smart but not nerdy,
caring but not needy,
affectionate but not clingy,
protective but not possessive,
emotional but not neurotic,
funny but not a clown,
dominant but not domineering,
in control but not controlling.

No problem.
Good to know.

So take notes guys,
all we gotta be strong but sensitive,
tough but tender, masculine but gentle and manly but vulnerable.

Seems easy enough.

EDIT: The funny thing about this is, I think even though women ask for so much, any one thing that's missing, women can't get ove themselves and all the flaws they have, to get over the few flaws of a man.

It's true though, what was said. Even though it was used as a joke.. it's pretty accurate! I think men are the same way though, yeah? Everyone is looking for a perfect partner.. but that's impossible. So they find someone that's close to them that makes them happy.. and nags at them for all of their flaws.. and breaks up.. and looks for another. Until they find one that has a bearable amount of flaws and enough pleasing attributes. Love and life !

That's exactly why I thought of the skit when I read though this topic. Women will "avoid" men based on their flaws. But I agree. It's not like I enjoy being around women who don't conduct themselves in a proper or professional method. I rather hang around a lady than some spoiled daddy's girl or a nagging know-it-all. So I understand it, but It's not like I expect anyone without baggage or without flaws.

Likely because it was an answer crammed so tightly up your ass, no one wanted to reach up and try to examine it from an intellectual point. If you really believe all women have a single mind with similar interests and needs then it's no surprise that every woman you have met didn't react to you the way you wanted, likely with one-liners and behaviors worked simply for the moment of engaging with them. Maybe stop wondering what "all women want?" but what the living person in front of you needs instead of your bullshit generalizing mentality.

That's the only way to do it. Women should know by now, that we aren't god-like and should be lucky that we can even provide much of anything at all. Anyone can be themselves, since everything is easier since you can stop trying to be something or someone else. It also helps being alpha. Pity leads nowhere.

Woah woah woah! Might I point out that it was a skit. And a pretty genuine joke based on observation. Of course it's a generalization. If you see at the bottom of all my posts there's a look of disapproval on generalizations. I in no way ever assume ___ is the same. Everyone is unique. But it's human nature to want the best and brightest. It's literally in your DNA telling you it, so you can pass on the most preferred dominate traits to your offspring. Men at similar. And I like everyone. No one comes without baggage. No one comes without flaws. I don't think I need to point that out, do I?

Misinterpretations occur on the net, but I don't think it was that far off considering you posted a skit promoting generalization and wrote comments showing favor of its messages while still somehow saying that you mean to be against generalizing? And if you're trying to say that it meant to show that message as a ways of showing the ridiculousness of trying to guess what appeals to all women, I would have to disagree because it was not at all a satire or at least you did not interpret it that way.
