I never watched Naruto before and the only Anime ive watch is Attack of Titan :)
So I'm new to Anime.

I was wondering, if there a point to start episode 1? or is there a season I can start and follow from there? I'm 300+ episode is alot ^_^

This may be a dumb question, but I'm just curious.

I personally don't think it's worth it. It's just far too long and the storyline ahead isn't that great. I used to really love it but grew tired of it because it moved too slowly. That's just me though. Of course, you can still watch it if you're curious about it

if you're new to anime I say you probably shouldn't start long series just yet unless you really want to go in for the long haul. and Naruto isn't the best to start out with you should go with shows that are a season or 2 long at first depending on what your preferences are there's already a thread for animes that people can recommend for you.

Yes, it is going to be more meaningful and enjoyable if you watch it from the beginning and see how the characters grow.

If you have only seen Attack on Titan I would reccomend watching some shorter animes first. Like Death Note. You don't want to commit yourself to a long anime like Naruto yet ;P

I would recommend watching from Season 1, Episode 1. The show starts off pretty goofy, but it gets better a few episodes in. It'll take you a LONG TIME, but it's worth it

I started watching from Season 1 Episode 1, and I think the story is great. I' m still on Episode 3 for Bleach though. I think it's worth it to watch it from the beginning but you make that choice,

Yes of course you should.
BUT skip the last 20 or so episodes and start on Shippuden. The last 20 or so is just fillers, and bad ones.

I would say don't watch Naruto.

At best, this show is fine. It's not breathtaking and you won't miss anything from not watching its current 400 some odd episodes. In that time you could be watching over 20-40 shows that are so much superior. Literally. Perhaps even more. There's no reason to get into one of the long running shounens at this day in age. If by chance you decide that you're definitely going to watch this huge show (probably because you can't differentiate different levels of anime) start from the beginning. If you're going to watch the anime make sure you use an episode guide list so that you don't end up watching filler.

I have seen and i continue to follow Naruto because I thought this show was actually good. Then my friend showed me Code Geass, Clannad, and FMA Brotherhood back to back; and I just realized how little I knew about Anime. If you want action series there are many alternatives. If that's your desire: start with Brotherhood.

Watching all of that may ruin your experience. Just wait until you watch a few dozen filler episodes.

Like most people have said on here, it would be better if you were to watch a shorter anime; I'd suggest that you watch Kuroko no basket (Kuroko's Basketball) here on Crunchyroll. It is a decent series which is going to get a second season later on this year. But yes you should start from Episode 1 of Naruto the story is build right from the very first episode. It will allow you to watch the characters grow and you'll witness their backgrounds and may even grow in love with them as I did but i do suggest that you skip the fillers as they are irrelevant and mostly boring.

If you're sold on naruto, go for the "main storyline" approach. Skip side questy story-archs and episodes, enjoy the awesome main storyline. Youll save time on like 120 eps between Naruto and shippuden!
