I don't mind spending money, but I want to spend it on something that's atleast reliable. Why should I pay for Crunchy Roll to watch the videos when there are other streaming sites that I can watch them from, and are far more reliable. I've had Crunchy roll for a bit now and all it does is load and load and pause and go for 5 mins and then load again. It's really annoying and it makes me wonder if I should subscribe to it's services, because it doesn't seem that wise of a decision to make.

Well, I do enjoy the HD quality, streaming videos, a good library of anime, and a service that seems to be on the 'rise' instead of just settling to stay where it's at. The price isn't too bad considering what you get in return. I'm very excited about watching all of the series being simulcast at the moment.

Well I guess you could get a better wifi service since I am fine with my wifi...and Crunchyroll is a LEGAL streaming service.

I've had no problems streaming with 720p (no point going higher on my laptop), ever. Maybe you need a different ISP!

My WiFi is fine, I can watch and stream HD movies like no problem on Netflix and on iTunes. But when I go on Crunchy Roll, it starts to annoy me how it buffers every 5 - 10 mins for 10-15 seconds.

I think the problem is on your end. Crunchyroll works perfectly fine for me. Once in awhile while im watching in HD it will stop. I just refresh the page once and it continues right on. And that doesn't happen much at all.

Have you tried changing your resolution you watch the videos in? Could be you just can't watch it in HD. Watching HD on itunes isnt the same since you download it your computer. Your streaming here so you need to be able to handle it along with having proper wi-fi.

Anyway I love crunchyroll. I mean yes I can easily go to sites such as gogoanime and watch everything thats here on that website. But I like to support anime industry a bit.

Now if you want to know a terrible streaming service not to get. DON'T get Funimation one. The website is horrendous loading times. Just god awful slow just trying to log in to your account.

you get a star next to your name

your voice actually matters

you get to watch the simulcasts on the day (unlike us plebeians)

you can deck out your profile with a background

you have less ads

you can embed music

but most of all you get the satisfaction of being better than the people without a star next to his or her name

Um ok?.....

I have found CR to be one of the most reliable anime streaming sites there is. It sounds like your problems are because of you have a slow internet service, you may want to switch internet providers or talk to them about increasing your bandwidth. But what are these other sites you speak of? If they are illegal fansub sites then sham on you for even thinking about dropping a great legal site like CR to support them! If you are a true anime fan then you will do your part to support the industry.

I have never had a loading/buffering issue and I always watch in 1080p and as long as the production company releases the content on time Crunchyroll gets it out very quickly and always at the time they have listed for their episode releases, which is very reliable. If you are having loading issues it isn't Crunchyroll, it is your ISP that can't handle the HD streaming.

There are times when I have a similar issue with it stopping and loading constantly but for the most part it works perfectly. I haven't experienced the issue in quite awhile ever since I started to pop the video out of the browser and then use full screen, which, I have no idea why that would do anything and was probably just a coincidence. Before even on the lowest quality it would keep stopping to buffer but now even on the highest it is perfectly fine. No idea what your issue could be but hopefully you get it worked out since this site is worth it.

Only happens to me on the popular anime right after they are released. Probably too many people trying to stream it at once. Sucks when you're at the most epic/suspenseful/romantic/cute part and it freezes and you have to refresh, and then it takes like a minute before it starts playing again and sometimes it doesn't pick up where you left off so you have to find where you were, and it ruins the moment. Otherwise im happy with Crunchyroll ^^

Don't pay for service you cant use to your satisfaction. That said I don't usually have any problems, I can steam 1080p without pauses for buffering and the video starts in a few seconds. Also if you're using WiFi not all router are created equal some have a lot of drops.

I have used my CR account on my PS3, Rouku 2, Xbox 360, and my GS3. I have had no problems at all. I will only use and support legal methods of anything. Breaking the law is breaking the law. I don't want to have any issues. I would rather pay the right way, than the hard way.
