I do it to support the anime companies. I love anime to much not to support them. I'd say go for it!

Well I'm not a CR sales representative, and it's your money, you decide what to do with it, not me.

But I'll answer the question anyway from my point of view regarding my satisfaction with CR:

- The pricing is really cheap for me. I mean $6 a month? I used to spend more than $20 a week renting anime from the video store.
(And at one point in time, Australian dollar was higher than US dollar).

- By paying for CR service, I believe I'm contributing to the International consumers market for anime

- I don't seem to have the 5minutes stop streaming problem that some customers are having...
but then again, my java is up to date, my computer's performance is a 7.9 on the Windows Experience scale on every aspect.

sounds like you need better internet service first :/ i pay for the purpose of being about to watch them on my regular tv that way im not always stuck sitting in front of my computer. plus paying for a product shows there is demand in the market for it, no one pays for anime and manga and they will stop taking the time to make it or bother ever bringing it to america

I think all the reasons were given above, but you're also helping support CR, and giving them money to improve.

You could connect an ethernet cable. I pay for Crunchyroll because I want to support the Anime Industry and I LOVE HD-QUALITY and I love this Community <3

I pay for it for a few reasons. To get rid of the ads is one reason. Also, to be able to watch the simulcasts pretty quickly. Another is because I actually like the translation for the subbed shows they have here.

It may be your connection. CR does not actually buffer (much) so you need a good connection. Works great for me.

Why pay for CR. No Ads. Thats why I am here.

I don't mind spending money, but I want to spend it on something that's atleast reliable. Why should I pay for Crunchy Roll to watch the videos when there are other streaming sites that I can watch them from, and are far more reliable. I've had Crunchy roll for a bit now and all it does is load and load and pause and go for 5 mins and then load again. It's really annoying and it makes me wonder if I should subscribe to it's services, because it doesn't seem that wise of a decision to make.

Use 720 instead of 1080p not all computers can handle the HD streams.
CR has a pretty good selection and it's also legal.

You are correct about the subs. FUN is so worried about lipsync that thay change entire sentences. I did not ever get jokes till I saw the same show on CR

The reason for your loading problems is either due to your internet connection or computer memory. If either of those is poor your videos will lag.

Animekami listed all the benefits of premium member so I won't bother lol.

I've tried a few of the "other" sites and none have such a combination of speed, reliability, selection and missing ads as Crunchyroll.

They have earned my dollar and am happy to give it to them.

Your wifi network or internet service is probably bad. The reason you don't have problems with Netflix is because Netflix will downscale whatever your are watching to ensure that your video buffers as little as possible. If you try to stream the 1080 or other HD videos, Crunchroll won't compress your video.

Howdy!

Well, CR Staff here just chiming in.

So a bit on our model... Our big thing is simulcasts. Every season we go for the widest variety of shows possible. Current Summer season is clocked in at 36 simulcasts. These shows are streaming as soon as an hour after airing in Japan.

We have a professional group of translators working to offer subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Turkish.

Your views mean money going directly back to the publishers. This is all legal streaming supporting the industry.

You also have access to a Support team of 4 reps working 7 days a week.

So yeah! These are just a few of the things you have access to!

If you are having issues streaming, please feel free to reach out to us using the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page for help!

Best,
-Baker
