I never watch Naruto before and people suggested to skip all fillers.

I see that Episode: 143-219 are all fillers? WTF? 50+ Episodes in a row? Is this right?

Anyway, should I skip the fillers? If yes, will I miss anything important? If not then I guess I will skip fillers :)

Any suggestions? I'm want to start watching NARUTO HEHEHE :p

Hi there. This is more along the lines of personal/help and not so much about discussion, so I'm going to close it. However, here are a couple of good places to post, or which may be of interest. (Because it's so popular, we have special forums just for Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, so some of these links lead there.):

Please don't post the same question in all these places--pick the one that seems best to you and post there only.

My own advice is to go ahead and watch the fillers in Naruto--they aren't very interesting for the most part, but there aren't that many. In Naruto Shippuden? Well, it's been pretty painful. Entire seasons' worth of nothing but filler and they've actually made me less interested in Naruto overall--that's been watching them mostly on a week-by-week basis. I don't know if it would be better or worse if I were marathoning (as I did with the first Naruto seasons), and at least knowing pretty much when they would end.
