That late, huh? Whatever, I'm not too hyped for it. That is, unless they fix up the stuff that people complained about in early and latest previews.

Meh, people will always complain about the dumbest things. If you prefer perfection, stick with games like Tetris. (Which I also love)

TIME IS ALMOST UP

Thief will be released tomorrow through out North America, I for one will most likely grab my copy and chew on it all week. <3

I have died more times accidentally falling from a roof than I have been seen by guards so far playing today...

Thief 1 and 2 were amazing. 3 was an interesting idea done awkwardly on an engine that didn't support the style of gameplay.

Every single review I've seen of the new Thief so far has been bad. Every one. I'll buy it for $5 on a Steam sale in a year and probably never get around to installing it.

It has a long and pretty crazy story of a million problems from day one. It was scrapped and restarted at least once. Steer clear of this one and go replay The Metal Age with a texture upgrade pack. Or give Dishonored a try. It's in a pretty similar vein.

Glad to hear that. Just can’t wait for it. I wonder if this will be set between HR and the original or after the sequel…

Purchased and playing through it since Tuesday.
So far, the only slight dissapointment is the intro cinematic... but other then that, so far this game is just SO DAMN FUN!!!!!!
For the first little bit, I was beginning to think it was a linear game like Uncharted, but turns out its just like the original games with free to explore maps!! SOOOO many rooms, sooo many secrets, sooo many ways to achieve your goals!!!

Don't know what everyone was expecting and giving this game such a lower score then it deserves. I've bought this game twice now, once for PS4 and the PC. So far, I'm really preferring the PC version.

Even for those who are reading the reviews, make your own decisions and give it a try. I think its definitely one of the best games in a long while. Really digging it so far ^__^

You enjoyed the original Thief games, and you're not going to try the new one?
That linear thinking won't getcha very far. Give it a chance, someday. Can't regret it.

I've read reviews, seen gameplay footage, followed the development for years. I was watching this when it was called THI4F. I watched it when it was going to be an RPG. This game has had so many problems from day one. The video reviews are showing all kinds of really awful bugs. I watched a player kick a rake in front of a guard about 4 times, making all kinds of noise. The guard sat there lighting his pipe every 5 seconds and completely ignoring the flying gardening tools rattling around the place.

I have limited gaming time and I live in a country where new games often cost $90USD. There are so many fantastic games around and many of them are selling very cheaply. I'm not paying $50-90USD for a buggy, unfinished game that spent 6 years in development hell. I'll probably pick it up during a Steam sale.

I hope you like it. I honestly do. I've liked some buggy, unpolished games before. Some of them I've loved and puts literally hundreds of hours into them. This won't be one of them.

Hmm. I think I might have to get some money together and purchase it off of steam. Have always been a Thief fan, hopefully this one doesn't ruin the series for me.
