Everyone should watch this show, in fact they must, or they cannot call themselves anime fans.

My worry is that people won't watch it "Because it looks old." In fact, if you are thinking of not watching it because you think it looks old, you are a horrible person.

Don't be a horrible person: watch Rose of Versailles. Hope that we get more classics. Any chance that you could pick up Aim for the Ace, Star of the Giants, Candy Candy, Brother Dear Brother, or Urusei Yatsura?

To be fair, Nozomi Entertainment had begun to post it to their YouTube channel, and all 40 episodes were available on Hulu.

Neither of course, had a premium option like CR that would allow you to watch without commercials.

WHY USA AND CANADA ONLY?
I'd have loved to be able to watch it in CR, because it's a bit hard to find from other sites... I'll buy the DVDs, if I ever get the change.

Otherwise it's great that now more people will find this masterpiece. I warmly recommend it. (And feel free to come discuss with me after watching ) And when it becomes more popular, maybe we would get a manga release?

I'd like to see more old animes in here too!

No it is not yuri, or not supposed to be anyway. Oscar is female and when she arrives in Paris, many of the nobles, which included women, take a liking to her because she is the only specialized guard to protect Marie Antoinette. It has action, a great plot and it does have romance.

For the same reason that most library titles are; because it is provided by a U.S. video distributor that in turn only has rights for the U.S. and Canada.
