I prefer individual because I get frustrated by team sport... I don't like depending on other people to win something... it gives me butterflies.

Team, because if you slip up, your teammates will definitely have your back.

I always hated Free-for-all Dodgeball in school. I couldn't ever win. I don't think I ever did. But I was almost always on the winning side of team dodgeball. Didn't matter what type of game we were playing...Standard, Swedish, Cone, Medic...I had the backs of my allies just like they had mine.

We don't have anything like that in Australia...

I've always wondered what it's like to play Dodgeball...

Instead we get weird sports like lacrosse...

Oh, dodgeball's fun! You should try it! It's not hard, and it's not really a professional sport. You should look into it. ^_^

Individual. If I mess up in individual sports, I'm not letting down anyone other than myself, whereas messing up in a team sport lets down the whole team, and I feel guilty about that.

Yes, that's one of the other terrifying things about playing team sports.
The people I've played with love to place blames on one another when losing

I like both - depending on the sport!

I used to play on a soccer team and that was good fun. I didn't have to get along with everyone, but the whole group was pretty mellow so there weren't any issues and we were aware of each other's skill level and backed each other up.

Now I do individual sports and like it, because I can be flexible in my training and workout at whatever pace suits me rather than relying on someone else.

I don't do 'sports' so much as I exercise. But when it comes to exercise I prefer to exercise by myself, I'm more inclined to talk to someone if I were running/jogging/walking with them, I'd be distracted, my pace would slow down, though I am willing to walk with my dog (I don't know if she counts as an exercise buddy though, she weighs nearly half of what I do though).

I think it counts... because dogs are a person's BFF.

You don't have as much support so if you screw up: Its your fault., not an entire team's shared mistake
Working in teams, is ALWAYS irritating, but there are also alot of benefits you don't get get from a one person sport

I personally play soccer (team) and do colorguard (which both team and individual simultaneously)
Oh yea! Colorguard is flag spinning: its harder than it looks! You hit yourself alot during practice spinning and dancing with a 6 foot pole lol

That colorguard sport looks really hard, it seems you have to synchronise with other people That will give me butterflies.

Here in Perth we get stuff like Aussie Rules, tennis, and in our school we got T.G. (a game our teacher made up for us because we love to beat the crap out of each other)......
I prefer individual sports...... Kickboxing and track and stuff...... Makes me feel accomplished when I win by myself :)
