I see. I do have an account here but I will admit to watching half of my shows through other means.

Hulu has a ton of anime shows if you want to sit through a few Ads every-now-and-then.

Hulu's "standard" free stream is 480P which I believe is a tad better than CR's free stream, but at least with CR, if you pay, you can get rid of the Ads. If you bump up the Hulu Plus, you still have Ads. Doesn't bother me, but it does most others.

No, it's not the most popular, but it's the only one I frequently visit.

There is one other free legal streaming site in Australia, Madman, they're airing My Teen Comedy Snafu and Attack on Titans.
I also watched Magi and Steinsgate on there.

I like to support legal streaming sites...

In order:
CR
Funi
Hulu
Netflix
TAN
diasuki
Crackle
Viki
youtube
Amazon
neon alley (dubs)
gong vision
there are a couple of others I think but hard to find. Also there are others for other regions besides the united states that I can't recall from memory

I watch most of my stuff here now, but I think Animecrazy was one of the big (illegal) ones.

Had a long run but the internets' becoming stricter as the government and companies try to gain media control.

I say the government put less control and more freedom and privacy.

lol the most legal... would name a few that are better but dont want to name them cuz if a snitch is on >_> u know... i only use this site for forum or to get high graphic anime that isn't high graphic in illegitimate website... but i prefer the other ones cuz this site doesn't post every single anime and if you solely use this one your missing out on a lot of nice anime..... idk if it's the mst popular i never used it until recently actually when i knew about it before but didnt use it cuz it's lack of anime... only used it to get a high graphic episode and there are some free sites with high graphics i will not name ... i saw animecrazy on the first page if this thread and i really liked that site.. some dam snitch or dem govment found out so that just shows you why good anime site's shouldnt get so popular or else the govment or a snitch might pop up... if u want to support the anime industry use sights like this though...

The snitch part cracks me up, mostly because of the irony of it's negative use on a legal website. Honestly, the reason why the available anime on here has been growing is because of the increase in revenue through people watching here. It's a lot easier to buy the licenses if they can promise viewers and thus $$. The more of these illegitimate sites you are referencing get shut down, the higher the likelihood people will search out legal means, which means more revenue, which means more anime available through legal means. Snitch in this sense, should be a positive word on this site.

I think its Funimation first and foremost. Was there not an article from a few months ago that had Funimation as the #1 Anime site with the most traffic? I don't remember too well. I was even subscribed to them last year but I canceled it this year. Hell even all my friends irl tell me to watch an anime they saw on Netflix.. For all we know Netflix has the most Anime viewers...

We need data! I must know who truly has the Most Anime Viewership!
