Nah, the responsibilities are nothing, the worst is the toll age takes on your body. Being in your 20's is the best. If only I could (physically be) be in my 20's forever.....nothing would stand in my way...

I think this sums up my stance.

You're only as old as you feel or somthing to that effect, your age is only a number after all.

Well now, I dislike the idea of getting older, however I realize it's my responsibility to do so and I will endure it, hopefully happily.

Lol. Currently I'm 22, and I'm just trying to do what makes me happy. It's kind of fun looking for that thing, but I'm sure I'll find it. Hopefully that thing keeps me happy until the end of my days.

I'm definitely worried about getting older. Too many responsiblities, plus I'm an all-around average person, so it'll be hard to get a job, or even a college I really want to get into. I feel like I'm not mature enough, good enough, or strong enough and that I won't make it as an adult. I used to want to grow up so I could do whatever I want, but now I wanna stay a kid. But I live by this quote "Life goes on", so I have to push myself to go with it, and I suggest you do, too.

I don't want to grow up. I don't want the responsibility. But what do I know? I don't have any life experience from growing up that I can base it off of. So I'll wait until after I've grown up to answer this question to the fullest of my abilities and wisdom.

its a natural part of life. you cant stand still in the world you have to keep going forward. and yes the means taking on responsibility you may not want to or having to deal with things you never did before but there is good that comes with it too there are all sorts of new experiences to be had, ones you could never do when you were younger. your life can be as full and rich as you want it to be its entirely up to you. or you can sit around and complain about getting wrinkles and paying bills :p
and aging isnt that bad, i dont know why people freak out about it, we are not made to look young and youthful forever, its the natural order of life, why be ashamed of growing old in appearance. over all i don't think i have aged that much at all from the time i was a teen to now. i am getting close to 30 and when people ask me how i feel about getting older my answer is always the same, i feel the exact same i did when i was a teenager :p

Haha I guess its true that I've been spoiled to some extent, but I don't live with my parents anymore and I'm handling myself while juggling school and a job. I'm not really scared of that, it's more of the biological clock that pushes you further. I guess just not being "youthful" is what I'm scared to lose. But who isn't so yah you knowwww

Yup biology's a bitch

I can't imagine being 40+ but everything before that and after high school sounds pretty fucking great to me? I really can't wait to get out of high school; whoever said high school is the pinnacle of your life probably didn't have that exciting a life.

Just imagine being the same person you are now, only more tired, ornery, and with less patience.
That's 40+.

Speaking from experience? Cuz if I get anymore sluggish or apathetic than I currently am, might as well just be a walking corpse. I had the impression that older people were more patient though haha, mostly because they're too tired to get so worked up by things. And if I still have the mindset/intellect of a teenager as an adult, I'll be hella disappointed. I expected to become Stephen Hawking by then. or at least maybe 1/20th of that.

Growing up is scary, sure but there are benefits to every age bracket you enter. Society puts a pretty big emphasis on a certain age being the "it crowd", the "sexy people", etc. The truth is, as you get older, you start to enjoy the comforts that come with your age. Sometimes you miss being younger, sure; but ultimately, you just have to always be yourself and remember that life is something to be enjoyed at any age. No matter what age you are, it doesn't prevent you from loving, laughing, living, and watching anime. ~_~

I've always told my kids, I might grow old but I won't grow up. If I grow up it will be time to close the lid and throw dirt on top.
