Do you frequently exercise?
Posted 7/28/13 , edited 7/28/13
So anyone here exercise every day/every other day/ three times a week etc.? I REALLY like to jog. I liked it in high school, but now it is especially awesome to do in college. The reason being college can stress me out at times and jogging really clears my head. Plus I like to stay somewhat healthy and fit. I honestly can't go too many days without jogging because I will feel like complete crap. I'm just addicted to it now I guess? lol so yeah.

No, I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to exercise. I like playing sports though.

But I really need to start exercising.

I ran and swam a lot in high school, I used to be able to run 5km without stopping... nowadays, I'm not so sure.

My coaches force me to jog a lot and strength train everyday during the winter so i can play tennis and water polo during fall and summer. I also strength train for martial arts, so yeah you could say i exercise frequently.

I've always done some form of exercise my entire life, and it's usually martial arts or other sports. To be honest, I hate lifting weights and running and stuff like that, because I get bored real easy and if I'm not having fun while doing it, I won't last maybe a year. So I prefer to do something I can have fun doing and still lose weight and get exercise, martial arts and other combat sports seem to fill that role for me, so that what I do.

I am frequently exercising during the weekdays, not so much on the weekends. I have been trying to get into the jogging scene but I really don't know how to keep up stamina, I always run out of breath halfway through a mile, but I'd still like to be able to do it.. I have been more of a dancer, cyclist, and a swimmer. I don't try to exercise on a regular basis, it's just habit for me now. Like how you said, I'd feel like crap too.

I wish I had the motivation to exercise. The most exercise I get is taking my dog on a 30-60 minute walk.
That, and I've been doing sit ups and squats 3-5 days a week. I increase the amount each day.

Either due to genetics, or my age, I don't really have a weight problem. I can't gain or lose it, so I can eat and sit around all I want. But I absolutely HATE feeling lazy. So these both keep my busy, and feelin' good.

Mondays are the mile runs !
Wednesdays we would have badminton practice / face off after school for like 2 hours
And Fridays we have ultimate frisbee practice also for 2 hours

BUT SINCE IT'S SUMMER...
I've gotten really lazy..
Gonna go biking and get back in shape... (Not that I'm fat or anything ! Thank god for my high metabolism !)

Nah.. I don't know >.<

I used to be part of a football team and intense exercise was everyday Saturday. Ever since I lost motivation to play football, the most exercise I've had is football with friends 2 times a week for at least 2 hours.

Yes, on and off. When I was really in tuned with my workout, I would do one hundred jumping jacks, 30 situps and pushups and a few yoga poses to finish off. I would do that for a few days (one-two days so I don't overwork myself), then switch up to do some walking outside or lift my mum's hand weights.

I don't do that as much as I want to these days, but I still try to stretch to help with blood circulation and flexibility and use the hand weights.

I know what you mean, i def cant go too many days without working out, you feel off and out of balance for sure. I pretty much workout 5 days a week, then cycle or rock climb on wekends. The weather doesnt matter, when its too hot, i just go to the beach and run . but i say you dont have to be a fit junky just get out and walk at a park or whatever and enjoy friends, fam or animals

I lift, I bench, I do weightless exercises, and I run. Either one of those every day.
