Disappointing, to me.
Also, this one isn't yuri, this one is actually just shoujo ai.
Shoujo ai is softcore. Just girls obviously loving other girls, very friendly. But no kissing, or anything like that. Maybe some hugging.
Yuri, hardcore. Kissing, obviously girls being in love with girls, BUT these girls actually do something about it.

If Sasameki Koto continued, I think it would turn into yuri.
Season 1 was damn slow unfortunatly, but I liked it.
I should read the manga

I have never seen Strawberry Panic so I'm going to have to agree and say YuruYuri. I can never really find any yuri animes.

Here is a list of mostly ever yuri/shoujo ai type anime there is.

Thinking back, Koihime musou was pretty fun to watch, although it may have just been because I like the visual novel. It was a bit heavy, but not as bad as IkkiTousen. Some other good ones with yuri undertones were Girls und Panzer or Upotte!!, but they may be a bit niche for someone that just wants the yuri bits.

I don't know what their qualifications were, but that list seems highly inaccurate. Also, I'm surprised Manabi Straight didn't make it on to there, considering some of the stuff in the lower categories.

I guess I've always liked Kashimashi, but it's probably not the best.

I've only seen two yuri shows, Yuru Yuri and Strawberry Panic. But, yuri isn't really my favourite genre... for some reason I just can't get into it the way I can with yaoi, so i'd have to say that Yuru Yuri was my favourite. It was cute, had like .. little hints of yuri in it, and it was funny and light I like those kinds of shows from time to time.

Added note: Can anyone tell me the name of the anime in the first post of the thread .. the picture doesn't have the name in a way I can look it up. I was looking for yuri shows to watch before and I couldn't find any, but that looks promising.

Kanamemo, if it counts. It's not exactly focused on yuri, but the lack of male characters means that yuri's the only type of ecchi/romance to be found in it. I'm voting for it mostly because established couple Yume and Yuki (leftmost on the picture) are absolutely adorable.

Unless things changed recently in Japan, girl-girl love in Japan is just called yuri, whether it's romance with little to no sex, or lots of sex. Shoujo-ai is an Americanism.

Candy Boy is my one of my most favourites as well, and I like Strawberry Panic, nice little Marimite parody. Maria-holic is yuri, but it's satire yuri, so I don't think most people count it as such.

Railgun, It's not really a yuri anime, but it has some Yuri elements in it.

Of the three I've watched completely:
3. Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl
2. YuruYuri
1. Strawberry Panic

Liked them all. I tried watching Revolutionary Girl Utena but only the first two episodes were on YouTube. I also liked MaiHiME but that doesn't really count. I was going to watch Aoi Hana but then my laptop broke.

I think it's Kannazuki no Miko, but I've never seen it myself (and heard it wasn't that great as a show).
