ok so heres a idea all these prisoners/campers/islanders have these skin tight Suits that can create pain and mimic mmo life without killing them and when they "die" the suits kill them off, but if you work hard you get upgrades like faster reactions or run longer distances, and stuff like that. and maybe they have some badass Google/dragonballzish looking glasses that provide a hud. BBBut these are just some thoughts on it.

Maybe have it start off with a safety on so players don't die, but then a virus infiltrates the system and removes that feature leading to a massacre?

me too, i think we are getting an interesting plot.

or they can wear the first given in entrance, like some protection.
Simulate is too gay and SAO.

They're given a computer where they can create their own armor and choose weapons different classes have different restrictions, like warriors use only plate and chain mail armor, whereas rogues use leather, then spell casters would wear robes which increase their mana pool allowing them to draw on more powerful spells and cast sustained spells, which they can use for armor (To make up for the lack of armor) Warriors would have a high str parameter whereas rogues would have a high dex allowing them to stealth around opponents to gain critical hits, flanking bonuses, as well as bonus surprise damage to unaware targets.

In a nutshell

1) Warriors hold agro and take the brunt of damage
2) rogues deal massive burst damage to a single enemy
3) Wizards can use AOE spells to assist or cast heals or any buffs that may be neede

Let me know if you can think of something else

i like the idea of different classes do different stuff but i dont like the idea of wizards seems to skyrimy to me, but maybe instead like a archery/crossbowman class, but i think there should be a wide range of options for classes

Those are basic classes. LOL Skyrim is shit I took the ideas from the Players Handbook from "Dungeons and Dragons"

Classes can split many different ways.

Warrior can become: Paladin, Barbarian, Ravager, Swordmaster, and Berserker

Rogue: Assassin, ranger, bard, ghost, and thief

Wizard: Necromancer, Druid, cleric, shaman, and battle mage

Not to mention there are a limitless amount of races available.

Fairy, Kobold, dragon-kin, halfling, dwarf, half-giant, celestial, fiend, elf, human, orc, half-orc, Catmen, wolfmen, drow, and goblin, just to name a few

I think its became too much MMO and its became virtual, running of the initial purpose to begin real, in a realistic world and aproach to SAO/ dot hack/ Accel world and Everything. They need to feel in her own skin the game.

Well with equipments they can emulate any class they want, her our strategies.
But well iff you want to.

I don't know one person who would go somewhere where they couldn't get armor of somesort for this kind of thing. If someone told me "Hey lets go to an MMO island" I would immediately ask "What armor do they have" There needs to be customization, and as for the race thing, it's anime, a holo-projector would work just fine

Okay...And the pain is simulated?
How much people play the game at same time??
They need to be stuck at the island in some way; Some sort of transport...Ship! And in a time, when they come back see is already destroyed.
And so the owner can't contact help or something else.

I was thinking that while they're there (like stated previously) a virus enters the system through some means, maybe a rival company, or the work of a skilled programmer. It turns off the safety on the systems making it possible for them to die in-game. This leads to a panic and in competition for resources people make "good" use of the PVP aspect of the game. This is just an overview and will need tweaking.

ok but how are they playing the game? like if a "robot" or what ever attacks you how do you loss HP and still fell pain without it being real pain? in other words... how does it become a "game" and not real life (until the virus or whatever)?

Idk my first clue of this its to be real, not virtual. Because its the purpose of the creator to simulate everything of MMORPG in a real context.

I think robots attacks need to make scratchs, can be punchs too(not this hard). Need to be a bit dangerous. Every sports is dangerous and can have accidents
