I know they have done it once before with 5 centimeters per second, but I honestly think that was a special case. I do not know for sure but I do know that ADV had the rights and planed on releasing it before the closed up shop. It wasn’t just Crunchyroll that had involvement in its release as well; Bandai Entertainment was listed as its official distributor. But that all happened close to 2 years ago and nothing else has been released under a there name since.

Now loyal fan base, would you want to see Crunchyroll start licensing shows for distribution? Or do you feel that there are currently enough companies out there that everything that you want to see is getting picked up, or would change their current business model to something that you don’t want to see. If you do feel that they would be successful what titles do you feel would they best benefit from releasing?

More than likely what they are mostly doing now. If they see a title no one else is after that could do well, why not just get the exclusive rights to it?

Meh, it's not like I'd have the money to buy them anyway.
Only if they got decent titles.

i think of this a toss-up to answer give most of anime here are subs yet barely dub anime in here.

give if plan to expand give need to show more dub & get which anime to pick-up for anime dvd-blu sets give which anime are free agents avaivable to pick up these days.

No, they should stick with streaming rights only

To anyone reading this, I'm not a marketing person, so I don't know anything about business or making profits. So my opinion means nothing in a business perspective.

But I think that CR is better off sticking with streaming, because as time goes on, more people will turn to streaming videos, whether it be for anime or TV shows.

And distributing takes a LOT of risks, way more risks than streaming because you need to pay licensing fees as well as advertisement fees... and you don't know if it'll be successful or not.
