Berserk has alot of action in it, especially up to the latter half of it.

Bleach is probably going to be one the best final battles. Kubo was really clever with building up to this final boss and the story is very confusing throught the majority of the series but it all gets explained in the Final Arc which made the Arrancar Arc look childs play (just throwing that out there) and when the final fight comes out I will probably be reading it atleast a good hundred times. It does suck for Jump to be loosing such popular mangas but the stories in both Naruto and Bleach have gone beyond what most people wanted them too and surprised most people.

Honestly couldn't have said it better myself.

It's going to be hard to replace those two. Their stories, worlds and characters were all really well developed. The predecessor is actually probably going to have to be a lot better than either or else people will say it's just another bleach/naruto/one piece etc. etc.

I'm just tired of the hiatus. I might just start rereading the first arc just to satisfy my cravings. Lol.

The Law of Ueki had potential but it told its story. Hunter X Hunter is nearly complete in my opinion. Jump, Toei and Funimation are trying to shove Toriko down everyone's throat. Right now I don't see anything that can take the place of the bigger series like One Piece and Naruto. Well at least coming from Jump. Attack of Titan seems to be doing very well.

The way they are trying to do that with Toriko is just terrible, it turns me off from it because they are like you said, shoving it down our throats.

I'd like to see something similar to Hunter x Hunter. Really interesting characters and an interesting plot above everything else. Too much comedy like fairy tail ruins the plot and action because I just can't take it seriously.

I agree that the comedy doesn't need to be "forced". What I loved about Bleach at the very beginning was how well it seamlessly portrayed its comedy. Naruto is pretty similar. I think the next big series should be something that is at it's core a serious action battle shonen, but that unexpectedly pulls out a laugh every now and then. And yes, if we can get characters like Hunter x Hunter, we'll be solid.

About Toriko, what they're doing isn't right, but they really don't have a choice. It's one of their only big franchises left that isn't quite close to ending. It's either Toriko or One Piece. Oh, and Akira Toriyama's series looks promising.

Okay I'm going to be honest here so please don't get made.

In my and many other people's and other forums opinions Bleach and part 2 Naruto are mid tear manga's at the highest.
Their good manga's but are no were near as good and have the influence as One Piece, Hunter X Hunter, and old series like Dragon Ball. Their probably even worse then Madaka Box.
Bleach is at the lower end of jump now in days and naruto......just what happened. I have friends that love them but I know far more people that just hate read/watch now.
Their good battle manga's but should not be called the big 3 any more.
I'm a big fan of part one Naruto but man it's terrible now and Kishi's one shots are shit.
If you want to know the popular shonen's right now and what will probably stay the top shonen's it goes this way One Piece, Assassination Classroom, and Shokugeki no soma those are the big three right now.
Jump will be fine without Naruto and Bleach when they end. If HxH comes back then it will be a big 4 hopefully.
Jump loves battle manga and keep trying to get new ones so just be patient and there will be one in the future.
Also I'll add this Toriko deserves more credit. It is a very imaginative series that takes many turns with many great characters. It will probably never reach big 3 popularity but it deserves it.
Akira's series is only going to be 10 chapters long. I'm liking it though as well.

I will agree with you, the first part of both series was much better. I love the soul society/visard arcs of Bleach like a fat kid and cake, but I will admit the later arcs aren't quite up to snuff in comparison. But it doesn't change the fact they are a huge part of Jump. I say this not only as a fan of Bleach, but as someone who hopes to make a career out of manga: Kubo is an excellent writer and artist. I have no doubt after he's taken time off and cleared his head (I mean really: when has he ever taken a break?) he'll finish Bleach with a bang. Same with Kishimoto, I don't think they're the kind of guys who will let their series fall flat at the climax.

Not disagreeing, but agreeing and sharing my hypothesis.

I wonder if the creators of these two series are thinking about their next project?

I think they should follow the Dragon Ball formula, make it shounen-y and add something new, like most of them do. We've had super-powered pirates, super-powered ninja ,super-powered reapers, super-powered gangsters, super-powered magicians, super-powered yokai... What hasn't been done? Super-powered businessmen or mailmen maybe...

Still nowadays, it seems the new Jump series are aiming for cancellation-meeting survival rather than worldwide popularity.

You forgot super-powered demons although when you added "youkai", I'm not honestly sure if you're referring to either the Yu Yu Hakusho manga or the Rosario+Vampire seasons 1 and 2 manga. Sorry if I misunderstood. Oh and super-powered Hunters, too.
