I just recently canceled my premium subscription for little while I deal with personal matters, I looked at when I was going to be billed, and it was set for August 18th. I wasn't sure if I would have been in a position to cancel the account at that date, and I assumed that if I canceled my subscription early, I would keep my premium status until the billing cycle came around again.

Now I don't particular care either way, it just seems an odd way to go about it. For all intents and purposes, those two weeks of subscription time I had left disappeared in smoke.

I'll be renewing my subscription again once everything levels out, but I would have liked to enjoy the two weeks where I could. Is there any particular reason why the time has been lost, or would I have kept those two weeks had I dealt with the cancellation differently?

I highly recommend you contact Customer Support right away.

It's not a good way to go about it, and I hope we'll see some changes soon.

I received a reply from customer service, I would like to thank Bjaker for his speedy response!

Apparently there is some print somewhere I overlooked that states premium status would cease immediately. I still feel this is a less than perfect way to handle cancellations, but I thank customer support for reinstating my lost time although it wasn't necessary. I just wanted a bit more information as to why and if there was anything I could have done differently to prevent this, other than wait longer to cancel.

I look forward to renewing my subscription at a future date!
