Things that makes you proud of Yourself

This is one of the things that makes ME proud, I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

So... The thing is, I used to be heavily overweight teenager. I used to be that bullied kid, that get's picked last to the team. I used to be that kid, who couldn't even do one pull-up.

I used to be a weakling.

Then, one day, when I was coming back from school, I got beaten up pretty badly by some older bullies. As my teeth were biting the dust, my face in the dirt, I decided that if I don't want to get beaten again, I needed to become stronger. I needed to become faster.

I started to do all kinds of sports. At first, it felt like torturing myself. After a year, I noticed that I loved it. Nowadays, two and a half years later from those bullies beating the s**t out of me, I feel like I should thank them. Without them, I think I wouldn't look what I look now.

So now you must be asking, "Well, what's the thing that makes you proud of Yourself?"

It's that thing that I showed myself that I am the master of my own destiny. I am the person who makes those choices.
I'm also proud myself because I didn't quit in the halfway of this process.

So that's my story, what's Yours?

I decided to stop trying and dropped out of college (even thiough I was almost finished and had a 3.5 GPA). Now I'm 25 and wasting my life away! Wait a minute...

I once wasted $1400 in a single month on a free to play game! Err...

I have no friends, and anyone I used to be friends with are now just old acquaintances! Hmmm...

Well then. Probably shouldn't be proud of those things. Moving on:

I used to pirate anime all the time. Recently (a little over a month ago), I subbed to CR and started buying anime. I hope to one day obtain physical copies of all the anime I've ever watched and any anime I watch in the future. I'm proud I stopped stealing.

except instead of courage, I'm an ambush predator.
But I hunt big game.

Every time I find the courage to talk to strangers, I feel proud afterward.

It's terrifying... I hate it so much.

I'd rather be in house fire, on a floor that's sagging like a hammock.

I'm almost never bored. Seriously, the fact that anyone could be bored in today's society astounds me sometimes. The only time I get bored is when I need to interact with boring people, which luckily, almost never happens.

All in all, given the (apparent) rise in boredom among my peers, I must say that the ability to entertain myself with nothing but a chair and a ceiling to stare at is my most prized attribute.

Well I've always been a creative person at heart, so whenever I do any form of art (music, drawing, cooking) I always have a feeling of satisfaction from my creations that make me want to show others. When I finish creating whatever, I go to my friends and say, "Hey guys look at what I just did," and I face the terrible criticism from them, but it's fun to just do art and it makes me feel proud to be me.

I'm possibly the smartest person in the world, and my confidence (arrogance?) and positivity is through the roof. I hallucinate what I now believe to not be hallucinations but rather actual real demons who are attracted to negative feelings. And no, that doesn't contradict what I just said about me being positive. Depression is hard to get out of no matter how positively you think or do. These demons are great, I think I can exorcise them now. Also, for a 17 year old, I have a gorgeous body. I'm going to be sculpted like a God in a few years.

A lot of people mistake loneliness for boredom, and when they say they're "bored," they're really just craving human interaction, not even necessarily to have fun, but because they need it. This is usually the case for me; I don't remember the last time I was like MAN, SO BORED, GOT NOTHING TO DO, because, like you, I just need a ceiling to stare at. However, I don't have any friends, and my current conquest (Yes, it's so difficult for me, that I call potential friends "conquests") isn't going so well, so i'm just like...WOW, I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE FUN AND LAUGH WITH SOMEONE RIGHT ABOUT NOW.

My lack of things to be proud of. It's really quite impressive.
