After a couple of days of hardcore training I finally end up in Foretsa, feeling like I belonged. In the remaining hours before nightfall, I look for a weapon dealer. After searching from the rooftops, I finally find one.

Kaito: "I would like to buy a good weapon that's the best you have."
Merchant: You sure you have the money for it? How much do you have?
Kaito: Let's see... 12378. How much can that buy?
Merchant: Hmmm... The best you can get is this saxe knife for 12000. You want it?
Kaito: Can I see it?
Merchant: Yes. Here.

The merchant passes the knife to Kaito, who tests its weight and balance. To him, it seems to be slightly unbalanced due to the huge head of the knife. Kaito tests with a few strokes.

Kaito: It has good balance. I'll take it.

The merchant and Kaito exchange the transactions and Kaito gets the saxe knife, leaving only 300 left for food and an inn. Kaito finds an inn that cost 200 per night and stays in it.

Waking up the next morning, Kaito stretches. He gets up to eat breakfast, but then realizes he's flat out broke again. He feels empty, but he knows he'll have to work to get breakfast. Walking back to the ladder he found yesterday, he climbs it to reach the rooftops. From there he scans the horizon, looking for the closest gate out of the city. He spots one and starts to sprint, seeming to leap from roof to roof. The way is distinguishable, so he easily arrives at the gate in no time. He enters the vast forest that surrounds the city. There he walks across the small river, going over the small bridge. The early sunlight lights through the forest making the leaves glisten with a yellow light. He gazes at the beautiful forest that is just beginning to awaken. He listens intently to the early birds' song as it flows gently around the trees. Then he snaps back to reality, going deeper into the forest to slay the still unknown beasts of Foretsa. He is not disappointed. After 5 minutes of walking, he is surrounded by <shrubs>. Bush-like monsters that seem to look almost identical to the bushes of the forest. There are six in total. He can handle them on his own. The shrubs start shooting out piercing attacks of dart-like twigs at Kaito. Kaito is able to dodge by jumping up and kicking off the tree toward one of the shrubs. His agility increases. His new katana is out of its scabbard and slices through the shrub. It crumbles into dust. He kicks off the ground, and starts to sprint toward the next one. The shrubs leave no time to react and attack Kaito with more piercing attacks. Kaito switches his weapons quickly to his Saxe knife and blocks the incoming attacks in a stopped stance. Since he can't switch for 30 more seconds, he uses the saxe knife to slash at the next target. The first cuts it to half health and the next swipe of the saxe kills it. The shrubs keep the attacking pressure on, shooting iron needles out of their mouths. Kaito tries to <parry> them, but there are too many incoming. He's able to block two, but the other 16 bite into his flesh. His health is reduced to 81% capacity. It seems the shrubs are able to launch more damaging attacks than just darts. He sprints toward them still holding the saxe knife out. Ready to slay them with it. The monsters launch another volley of needles, but Kaito does something unexpected. He pulls out his katana, putting his saxe knife back into its slot. Using the katana, he does a right upward swing and knocks the needles harmlessly away. Perfect timing. The monsters don't flinch from having their attack intercepted. It seems they have to recharge every 5 seconds. Realizing this timing, he knows there's going to be another volley coming at him. He prepares to deflect it again. The shrubs shoot the iron needles. 'Wait for it. Wait for it' "Now!" He sprints forward sweeping his katana up. He knocks away the needles and advances greatly, meeting them at the fourth second. Two slashes left and right, and the monsters lay in a scattered mess of light. A window pops up awarding 573 exp and 60 col. Kaito goes up 1 level to 15.
Kaito: "I think this is enough for breakfast today"

He heads back to the city of Foretsa. Ready to get something satisfying to eat.

As Kaito enters one of the restaurants, he sits down at one of the tables near the glass. He liked to look at the brilliant city that was just outside the glass. An npc comes up to him and asks for his order. He orders some drink that is like sprite. He gazes out the window and sees the busy city as it progresses, more and more players rushing to go see the new forest. Its interesting to watch, as he awaits his drink. About 10 minutes later, the npc comes back and puts his drink onto the table.
NPC: Are you ready to order?
Kaito so busy staring out the window, forgot about looking at the menu. He quickly looks through the menu and decides upon the special ufon omelet. The npc leaves and Kaito is left alone again, deep in thought. He thinks of that other day, meeting Amon. He realizes that he forgot to get some contact information from them. He unintentionally hits his head with his fist, lightly. They looked like fun guys to join. He had missed his chance then. He'd probably not see them for months again with there being 5097 other players. He shakes his head in regret, wishing that he would have done something different, but the way Amon downshot him was just too intimidating, and he had cowardly went to that portal. He sips his drink. It would have been much easier to slay bots if he had a partner, but most people in this game had already formed parties. He just joined 3 days ago. He wondered about those two other players with Amon. What were they like?

Wolf enters the restaurant. He looks around the place to first see if he knows anyone there, but sees none of his party there yet. He was the first one here, so he decides to chat to someone new. he recognizes one face near the window. He remembers the description from Amon on this person. Kaito is still looking outside the window as Wolf decides to walk up to him.

Wolf: Mind if I sit here?
Kaito surprised looks directly at Wolf slowly, but keeps his face and motions calm and composed.
Kaito: "No I really don't mind.
Kaito turns back to look at the scenery of the city again. Wolf takes a seat across from Kaito. He gets a hint that this guy is a solo player due to his attitude.

Zwei walked around a bit at the end of the day, thinking about all the stuff said and done, and he come to the conclusion that it had been a good day. The race with wolf, Amon and Nick went as it went, really. Zwei surely wasn't the most acrobatic of them but he managed to keep up the pace, and follow them all. It was really fun, and he had really enjoyed it.

He had always dreamt about running around the rooftops back home in Tokyo, and being able to do so in such a similar environment in the game really was quite fulfilling. That again didn't help him shake the feeling that he'd been having for a while. The feeling you would get all the way Down in the stomach when something feels familiar, and it reminds you of home, but at the same time you know that this Place is Your real home. He had that feeling, and it really creeped him out.

He shrugged it all off and continued to walk aound some more. Suddenly upon a roof he found a Park that he had never seen before. He noticed the branch of a tree up at the roof and went up to investigate, or satisfy his curiosity. He didn't even know it existed before, but there it was. A peaceful park, with a fountain in the middle, and a few Threes and benches placed strategically all over. It also had a little grass patch where it was possible to play Catch or something, or at least if it was real there would have been People playing Catch there. He found the park to be extremely relaxing, and soothing. The sky was getting darker, and as it did, he sat Down under a trea, and just watched the digital sky. He couldn't tell real from fake anymore, but even so, he knew this was digital. It was a soothing sight either way, and based on this days events, it would be the last time in a while that he could enjoy a sight like this in a while. It would feel good to Return to the Group, and Group activities, though.

He just spent the evening sitting in the same Place, staring at the sky, and he would probabl spend his night there too, even if it was a little risky, but then again, everything else here was a little risky too. with that in mind, he closed his eyes, soning out, but not completely and held his hand upon his katanas tsuka.

He half-sleeps and finds himself back in reality. There in his school. His friends are chatting about something, but he can't seem to hear what they're saying. Yet he seems to understand the whole conversation and joins in. He enjoys that moment to its fullest. A tear drop falls onto his face. His friend notices and points it out. Kaito's responds with 'Im just a little tired.' They go back to the current conversation. Kaito can't believe he escaped that death game. He is relieved that he no longer has to worry about dying so violently. He no longer has to go through the terrible loneliness that he once felt within SAO. He noticed the food on the table. He notices the various foods in front of everyone at the table. 'Food.' His mouth waters. 'Food.' The voices become more distant. 'The food.' The background becomes fuzzy. 'Food' His consciousness starts to awaken. He begins hearing an annoying beeping from outside. Kaito's doesn't want to leave. He doesn't want to live the death game. He doesn't want to go back to that horrible place. Fear clenches his heart. He realizes he's being pulled back to that wretched world once again. That obnoxious noise is still throbbing inside his head. That noise. That noise. Something is shaking him awake.

It has been several days since the roof jumping with the gang. [OOC:Bolded to make breaking back into pace easier]. Wolf hasn't spoken with the others since then, but Wolf has mentioned to them once more that they should train together again.

"Still surviving? Well, enough of that. It's time to start living. Meet me at the Trees of the Forest if you're ready to proceed to the next floor. We have people to save." The message to the others was simple and rather forward.

Wolf enters the surprisingly busy restaurant. 'Is that the guy Amon was talking about?' Wolf thought to himself. He approached the player that had his gaze towards the outside world, maybe even further out.

"Hey," the hulking giant began. "You must be the guy that Amon mentioned to me." Wolf was standing next to an empty seat and figured sitting down would diminish his intimidation. Wolf, being a 6'5" monster with black shaggy hair and mysterious golden eyes, knew he looked like something that would crawl out from a closet at night. "I'm Wolf, former solo player, now leader of the boss excursions. May I ask for your name?"

Wolf appeared to be everything that everyone wanted to be. He was tall, strong, athletic, smart, and knew his way around a business, but he has many downsides that he tries to not show. With a friendly smile, he welcomes this new player that Wolf knew, had spirit, and that, was the real reason he found him so fast.

Wolf knew that this guy could change the world, and he knew that he couldn't do it by himself. He was just another piece to puzzle, but without him, the puzzle would remain incomplete. He had to recruit this guy.

Kaito noticing the bellowing voice that has boomed into his ears, turns to the huge man in front of him slowly and acknowledges his request with a nod of his head. He stands up from his seat, and looks at Wolf confidently.
Kaito replies to Wolf, "I stand before you, as a man of loyalty and as a comrade. I shall use my petty skills to annihilate any beasts that stand in our path. Kaito puts his hand out as a gesture for the fulfilled days to come. Inside his mind is going crazy with embarrassment, but he ignores the feeling, trying to give a good first impression to the person in front of him. Others stare at him in amazement with looks of disbelief and interest, wanting to see what happened next. Seconds upon seconds pass. The pause between the two refects the whole restaurant, everyone is silent, waiting in anticipation for what is to come next. Kaito looks at Wolf, as if studying him, seeing what his reaction will be. Kaito's thinks to himself within those moments. 'Was that too strong? Was that too out of character? Will he accept me into his party after that exclamation?'
The tension builds inside him as he awaits Wolf's response.

Wolf stared at the man who was now standing. He was a bit of a mess, but it wasn't something Wolf couldn't handle. After several seconds, Wolf let out a huge laugh.

"Hahaha, you've got guts kid," Wolf looked around for a waitress. "Tell me, son. What would you die for? What would you live for?"

Wolf let the question sink in as he mentioned for the female NPC and shooed away the male NPC. It took resolve to keep one's head still on their shoulders, and Wolf needed to know if this guy had it.

Wolf suddenly bursts out laughing.

"Hahaha, you've got guts kid,"
A male npc comes up to Wolf, but Wolf just automatically shoos him away.
"Tell me, son. What would you die for? What would you live for?"

That question hit me. I allowed my eye to travel around the room. Seeing the weird glances from the rest of the tables. Some of them are snickering quietly while others are just shaking their heads, some just looked away. Kaito hides his embarrassment with a serious face. He talks the way he usually talks, calm and steady.

"I live for my nakama. Whatever lies ahead, whatever has a killing desire, I will slay it with no hesitation. I will get back to that world. That world where that nakama and the this current nakama will be able to unite once again. I will bring forth my fullest strength for that one reason. So Please allow me to join your cause."

Kaito says the last sentence with a quieter but firm voice enough to be heard by Wolf alone.

"By the way, my name is Kaito."

He sits down at the table with that said, and pays no attention to the tables in the rest of the restaurant. After sitting, he sees Wolf calling for a woman waitress to their table.

"By the way, my name is Kaito." Wolf pondered his thoughts about this fellow. Wolf has seen death before, and the more he sees it, the more he learns to prevent it. He wonders how this boy will react to death.

"Boss Raids are known to be very dangerous and very tough," the colossal being began as he scanned through the menu and pointed out items to the waitress. "But they are more than just that. A boss raid, is the stepping stone to our freedom, and I will live, to free our people." As the tone of the conversation got slightly more serious, Wolf switched from a laid back form into an upright and professional one. "I don't want someone who would die for the world. I want someone," Wolf paused briefly. "I want someone who will LIVE for it. And you my friend, is someone that would live for it."

Wolf's golden eyes firmly met with the player across from him. Wolf knows that when recruiting someone for the boss raid, he is pretty much asking them to give him their life. In return, Wolf will attempt to free the people of Aincrad, or die trying.

After hearing Wolf declaring those last few words, his face seemed to brighten, and he gave a moment smile. The waitress comes back to deliver his omelet, which looks deliciously good. He unravels his napkin and lays out the utensils onto the table. He takes the napkin and puts it on his lap, while holding the fork in his left hand. He gives the omelet a taste, cutting gingerly into the egg, and delicately putting the soft bite into his mouth, savoring the taste. He feels Wolf's eyes on him enjoying the magnificent, tasty, mouth-watering dish. The tomatoes, the unique strange but profound meat, the tender savorful bacon, the green onions, the pig sausage, and the juicy mushrooms all blend together to make the omelet heavenly. Kaito gets the feeling that Wolf's glaring at him for describing the food so descriptively. Kaito takes another bite, despite the intense glaring, and enjoys the delicacy within his mouth. It was a great choice to pick something so delicious, Kaito thinks. As Kaito starts on his meal, Wolf anxiously waits for his.

A slight breeze swayed Wolf's devilish dark hair as he stepped out of the restaurant. Wolf invited his new friend Kaito to come join him and his friends to train in the area known as Trees of the Forest. Wolf sent everyone one his friends list, the message and hoped many of them would show up.

Opting to take the normal road to the outskirts of town, Wolf headed down the busy streets, towering over most of the other players. Wolf was easy to spot in the crowd, but that also makes him an easier target. He wandered mindlessly until something of interest caught his eye. A frustrated NPC with a quest symbol above his head, paced about, close to the exit.

Wolf stood there, deep in thought. He knew that if anyone he knew were to pass by, they would notice the hulking giant just standing there in the way of the crowd.

A burst of fragments.
Another Foe had fallen at nick's feet.

He was exhausted, looking around the forest area he saw that this area was clear of all enemies.

The race with his friends ended a couple of days ago and he hasn't seen any of them since.
He did hear from Amon that a new player would likely enter their ranks soon.

Nick was happy to hear other players still had the guts to join the front lines.

Nick did sigh.
He stayed in the combat area for the last three days, not sleeping only farming to get stronger.
The loss they had in the last boss battle still felt bitter.
He did get over it faster then he thought he would.
Not that he was used to death, but still, something in him snapped some time ago, numbing him to the death of the people he could call friends.

A shiver went down nick's spine, and he cleared his head of the thought that would consume him if left unchecked.

HE sheathed his sword and walked back towards town, he had rented a room in the first inn he found and it would be a shame not to use it.
