Never been to a driving school...here in the Phils., I was home schooled. My dad taught be how to drive a manual when I was 14. Then, practiced parallel, diagonal, and car park reverse parking. After a while, he got me a more advance lesson in maintaining a cars' position on a traffic light while being uphill without using hand brakes, just the proper mixture of gas and clutch control.

never had any problems w/ driving, ever.
Both here and the UK.
though driving in the UK seems slightly easier in ways of road structure.
ie round a bouts.

but the streets are so small it was kind of a "I yield, you yield" kind of thing...

I find a lot hard when driving, my dad is always yelling blind spot! Mirror! Watch your speed! Then i go too slow or too fast, i think i'm good a perpindecular parking though. The car tends to move slowly to the side or middle of the road, can;t understand how my dad could go through teaching me driving, i still have a long way.

when i did my behind-the-wheel training the only things that were really a problem for me were remembering to check my blind spot and that big ass sign attached to the top of the car that would let jackass drivers know that i was a beginner and that made me a target for them to mess with.

Oh my god, one time i had a date, and my dads friend decided to loan me his Lotus Elise, when i went to pick her up on the way over i think i stalled it 8 or 9 times then when i was with her driving her home i stalled it so badly that she hit he head and got a bruse, goes to show you that in track cars you need to have a very smooth clutch foot lol

Learnt driving in home grounds since... 8? Started driving on roads (illegally) since 14. Solo at 16.

Instructor = Dad.

Want to attend a proper race school though. Not the drifting stuff, but real racing school so I learn more about car limits and what it's like to be in a very dangerous situation, etc.

Well, I won't get a STi till I do so, so have to get my ass moving!

I've passed my driving test lol

I passed first time in manual and I had no trouble during driving lessons, in fact I drive even better after my test as we gain more experience.

tip: learners I bet you can't sing and do a maneuver at the same time and have to keep both hands on the wheels because you guys haven't yet nurtured yourselves to multi task, especially for guys- we all know guys are not born to multi task but women are. thats why women make better road drivers and men make better track drivers, you don't need to signal you're gonna over take a slow bastard on a track lol
