Haven't drawn in quite a while. For manga drawing I would say I am best at "copying"

[Drawn while looking at my monitor. Lacks darker lines due to inexperience/awkwardness drawing manga style]

(1rst is original, 2nd is some quick modifications through Gimp)

Was drawing "Riko Aida" from Kurokos Basketball ....

I don't have a style perse, i do have originals from when i just feel like drawing whatever, im not good with people drawings though ><
i can somewhat, semi copy what i see, for manga drawings! but thats about it and i can't do bodies.. actually there's a lot i can't do xD
Though i really do prefer doodles like the second one :3

the first is where i copied the eyes and the mouth and the second is just a random doodle

Thank you~ for your kind words. You draw in real and then scan it correct?
What type of art equipment you use for your style?

I do CG with People also.

This is my favorite style.

I tend to have a very anime-manga style. And I think it's very shoujo-ish and soft. I often want to have a bolder art style, but I suppose this kind of style keeps finding a way back to me.

I really want to be able to create solid line art someday! My art is actually less soft on paper because I like using ink and markers. I like using colored pencils too because they're easier to blend and are cheaper. xD My digital art has more of a pencil and paint texture.

I draw anime-style. It started out as a way for me to cheat at drawing since I suck at realism Now I just really like drawing that way.

Oh yes, you should try it, it is, White charcoal, with charcoal pencils. But please note that Charcoal sticks are 50X better.
I learn always draw on Tan or tone paper if sketching a more realistic concept or image. You should try it is fun^^
Thanks for your kind words =3

I'm a little confused, I always felt the terms "anime" or "manga" were too broad of mediums to be considered styles of their own. Many people in this thread have identified as either one or the other--or "realism" and...I just don't know that I could use any of those to describe my own art. If anything, I think mine might be slipping into "moe" territory (I tend to draw lots of cutesy stuff), but even then I'm not sure.

I have to say, I really love the diversity of styles I am seeing here. Different linestyles, no lines, colored, painted...etc. You are all amazing~

I prefer manga. I think my style is shounen. I dunno, I don't focus on what style I'm doing, I just draw whatever I find appealing. I like to do sketches, but if I really like a drawing of mine, I'll ink it and maybe color. My manga style has changed throughout the years, mostly accidental. I'm always open to drawing other styles, like realism type of stuff. Drawing is just fun (^_−)−☆.

I love using willow and white charcoal on toned paper. I prefer grey. The best thing invented.

I remember I posted a few months ago. I'm still leaning toward realism with more emphasis on highlights.
