I've been flat out broke lately, so I can't afford.to.pay for.my CR membership. I've been trying to renew it with CR bucks and the super rewards offers. I was moderately successful at renewing it for one month. In order to do so, I had to spend a few hours installing and uninstalling adware, doing "surveys", unsubscribing from countless email lists that I had inadvertently subscribed to while completing said surveys, and dealing with the terrible customer support provided by Super Rewards.

If anybody reading this is thinking about using this service in order to renew your membership for free, be sure to do the following first.

1: Get a computer set up that you are prepared to wipe completely. This takes a lot of the hassle out of uninstalling all of the adware that comes.from the offers that ask you to download and play certain games.

2: Prepare an alternative email account for submitting to any of these offers. If you use your regular email address for signing up to any of these, you'll end up with about 50 spam emails each day, per-offer. This will make it difficult, if not impossible for you to find any actual emails that might be important to you.

After all this, you may not even earn any CR bucks. So, while you're signing up to the offers, be sure to take special notes on each offer and the terms for completion and rewards. Make sure you save any "confirmation emails". These are the emails that contain a link for you to click so you can confirm interest in the offers. When (not "if") SuperRewards fails to reward you with any promised CR bucks, you will be asked to send them a copy of these confirmation emails. When you send them the copies, they will require you to send them screenshots of each email AND screenshots of the page after you submitted your info. Hopefully you were taking screenshots this entire time because if you weren't, you'll simply have to complete the offer again.

Hopefully this info will help a few people out. It would be even better if CR does something about the guys over at SuperRewards.

Sorry for the spaces being replaced by periods here and there.. The period key is right next to the space key on my Windows Phone, and it's a PITA trying to fix them.

I feel you bro! Super Rewards cheated me months ago and took off every survey available after using them to pay of my CR Membership! This forced me to actually try to make the money to send to rixie in order to obtain Anime Membership! Now that im pretty much broke, iI went back to check if theres any available offers. Theres this new thing where you do surveys to earn bucks which got me excited! Unfortunately, I only had about 2 success while I failed the rest after taking much of my time responding to the surveys! I still have not reached at least $6.95 in order to get another membership... That got me depressed man... The new surveys they put up disqualifies me within a min! o.O

They cheated me out of my time and essentially stole my information. I have read several forum posts and apparently this is an on going theme.
I have yet to see any representative of Crunchyroll take any action to resolve this issue. I am highly disappointed by SuperRewards and dissapointed in CR for allowing this to continue. I refuse to support either party further until this matter is resolved. I will no longer be paying for membership even if I do have the money to pay for it. I will NEVER use super rewards ever again. I will stop telling my friends to use Crunchyroll to get their Anime fix, simply because the people running SuperRewards are TOTAL SCAMMERS and Crumchyroll is allowing them to continue their fraudulent activity, thus Crunchyroll is also at fault and partly guilty of the same atrocities.

Howdy!

Super Rewards allows you to purchase CR Bucks using a valid payment method like... A Credit Card .

These CR Bucks can then be used to purchase a Non Recurring Membership.

This is why we have the service. It is a payment method for users who do not want a Recurring Membership.

By completing the offers that Super Rewards lists on the CR Bucks page, you have a chance to earn CR Bucks. Successfully meeting these requirements and earning CR Bucks via this method is up to Super Rewards. If you have issues with the surveys or offers, you can give them feedback via the 'Get Help' button on that page!

I apologize if you feel that you're being taken advantage of, but again you are only using one aspect of the payment method.

You can always go to the following thread, and see if you can get a 2 day Guest Pass:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-803801/the-official-guest-pass-thread

These are absolutely free and require no surveys or offers to make use of.

Because there really is nothing more to say on this, I am locking this thread.

Best,
-Baker
