If the world was a better place, I would. It's not thorough, so no.

I want to be. I want to see how technology and everything evolves. It would be an amazing feat! Not to mention expanding my knowledge more and more

I would love to be immortal. Besides the fact that I'd have to go through losing my loved ones in such, in time, I'll probably become desensitised to the feeling to where it wouldn't be a problem anymore. So I'd just keep myself emotionally unattached from people in order to never go through loss or anything of the sort.

I think it'd be really interesting to see how the world ends up, how video game companies evolve, and besides; I'll have all the time in the world to watch those daunting anime series that range in 100+ episodes.

Sure. As long as I can remain of the radar and not get captured for experiments.

I would definitely take the Immortality. Hell, I would either take it with eternal youth, conscious reincarnation, or just aging but making myself appear young by absorbing life(like Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat).
By conscious reincarnation, I mean to create a life, either through artificially or through birth, maturing the vessel into your preferred age and moving your conscious, with all your memories and experiences, into the fresh vessel. (the Maddo Scientisto Way!)

That would depend, if I became immortal, would I look the same as I do now or would immortality make me beautiful and attractive?

I'd compare this to book series, but I would be worried that I'd nerd everyone else out to much.

Yes and no.

Yes because more time to do everything this world has to offer. Backpack through every corner of the Earth, learn languages, see how others live in different places, really learn and understand things. You basically have a new life anytime you go somewhere new. I feel if I was immortal, I wouldn't have to worry about money, my career, i.e. my future. While I enjoy my life now, the pressure to pick a career and make money is suffocating. We're alive for such a short amount of time that I feel I don't have enough time to do everything I want to while still trying to stay on "track" in life.

No because everyone I know will die while I'm alive. That's depressing as heck... :[

Yes. I need my immortality if I'm going to rule over the world. Wouldn't want the world to think that they'd just have to wait till I'm dead for the lighter life to come.Oh yeah, and you humans need to be my slaves.

No really......

KNEEL THE FUCK DOWN.

P.S.I do have a real opinion on this. The answer would really be yes.I will say I would like to live on the lines of Eternal youth, but to the extent that my life force only gives to fatal means. Not on an unprecedented timely basis if ya get what I mean.I'd rather keep the reason private.

Nice to see you have the same answer. But I expected nothing less.

Immortality needs an off-switch. It sounds great on paper but I've given the subject a lot of thought before.

First of all expect to witness all of your loved ones dying, you certainly couldn't lead a normal life with such a unique abnormality, since if the government ever found out you'd likely be locked away and tested on and with no real specific superpowers good luck trying to escape.

There's also the problem with scars/blemishes/maiming, I would imagine your immortal body wouldn't grow back limbs in severe situations? I would imagine living forever would massively increase your odds of getting into a serious accident.

Then of course there's also the long-term effects of living forever, we don't know how this would effect your psychological health, or if your brain could even store so many memories. The planet also won't necessarily be here forever, and the human race may never get to the point of inhabiting other planets before it is wiped out. Eternity alone is a terrifying thing to imagine.

I think that living longer than an average of around 70 years would be nice, especially without having to experience old age, but you really need a personal off-switch for when the ride is no longer fun.
