CR Support said they were developing a new app for roku, but in the meantime everything stopped working. Why would you install a non-working update and then pull your channel from Roku before finishing development on a new one? This makes not sense.

I just checked my Roku, and the app is both still there and functioning.

hmm, did you use the option button on the ROKU control to 'Remove Channel'?

Before I removed it I was suddenly getting "Server Error – the operation could not be completed due to one or more missing values." messages every time I tried to play a CR video. The CR support told me they are working on a new app and could help no further. I know the support people don't always know everything and often say more than they know. So I tried this one last thing. That's when I found I can no longer get the CR channel from the Roku store.

I'm getting a purple screen with white lettering saying:

HDCP unauthorized. Content disabled

(House of 5 leaves, episode three if it matters......Edit: All shows I have tried do this)

Edit: Sound is working, and if I scroll ahead, I can see image icons from where to start again, but any time I try, I still get the above message again.

Second edit: Working OK with my Roku LT model, but not with the Roku 3

Third edit: Unplugging from power and replugging seems to have cleared the issue...

asharka, Did you mean to post this here? I'm guessing you meant to open a new topic.

I meant to do it here. It was related. All that happened when I tried to repeat his problem to see if it was just him, or if it was because of a new release causing issues...

OK. So how did you repeat the problem? I am using the Roku LT myself. But what you are describing doesn't sound like the same problem. Did you remove the channel and attempt to re-add it? FYI in attempt to fix the server error I trried powering the roku on and off as well as logging off of CR and reactivating it. Neither helped. CR does work from a PC on the same network and Netflix and other channels work from the Roku.

It is possible that there is a compatibility problem between KDrama and CR because shortly before the server error happened, I watched a CR show through KDrama (they are related). Now neither of them work, but at least KDrama didn't disappear when I removed that channel.

Well, that's just it, I couldn't repeat your problem about not finding it... After deleting the channel I was able to add it back in the Store (under movies/TV about 7 rows down). I also found it on the roku.com website after logging in and was able to add it there, too.

If your problem is just that it isn't working very well because it takes a long time to retrieve a show, then I have nothing for you. That's the issue they are supposed to be working on, and I just got interested because it sounded like they were finally releasing the new version, and that you already had a problem with it.

Problem solved.

1. You're right, CR was under "Movies & TV, but NOT under International channels on the Roku. So I was wrong about it no longer being available.

2. I think the original problem was caused by a conflict between the CrunchyRoll channel and the kDrama channel.

When I re-added it. I did not have to re-enter my account info and when I went to play a video, it played as it
should without the server error..

So if anyone encounters this again, remove both the kDrama and CR, channels, then re-add CR.
