My father is kind of thickheaded and doesn't always think before he acts, but he means well. He's a lot more balanced now than he once was.

My mother was a kind, caring person who always put her family before herself.

Love them both.

I love my parents, my mum was a commerce graduate and my dad was a professor.

I've always imagined what it would be like to have musical/artistic parents instead of academic ones.

But I wouldn't have it any other way; my parents have raised me to be a free spirit, and that's what I love about them; that they don't impose any weird ideals in me.

I grew up choosing my own philosophies and being fascinated by the objectivity of science by myself; not by someone else's influence.

My mom has pretty much disowned me, so not much to say there.
My dad is a pretty cool guy though

My mom is religious, strict and nice. She sometimes gives me fun ways to scare my friends

My dad is really nice and pretty much lets me do what I want as long as my mom approved. Plus he gives me money!

I love and respect my parents but beyond the relationship as parent and child, there is very little substance to be had. And as an adult, my actual needs from my parents are rather limited.

I love them of course!

I have always gotten along with my mom she is one of my best friends, even if she drives me crazy sometimes lol.

When I was younger I didn't get along with my father very well, but when I got older I had the chance to work with him and saw a different side of him. I came to realized that the reason we fought so much when I was younger was because we were too much alike. Normally you would think that would be a good thing but the problem is that we are both very independent and don't like other people telling us what to do. I came to really respect my dad and now that he treats me like an adult we get along a lot better.

No complaints. They're not the type (personality-wise) that I would get along well with if they were strangers, but if you get to know anyone well enough, you're going to find things you like about them (although I've obviously never met him, I'm convinced that even Hitler had some likable personality traits). They did a good job raising me, and I've been around them long enough to have some mutual interest in staying on good terms, so we both put in the effort to keep it that way. It helps that they're divorced -- It's much easier to deal with people when you can treat them as individuals rather than as a member of a group.
