Going local is fine, but when it's difficult or a new title in Japanese that I HAVE to get now, I purchase from honto.

honto.jp
cdjapan.co.jp
hmv.co.jp
amazon.co.jp

All great for importing manga but watch the shipping costs!

cdjapan has the greatest variety of shipping options that I've seen.

Hi guys,
Anyone from Sydney can tell me where I can buy japanese raw manga?

My local Kinokuniya sells a volume of One piece for example for ~$10 AUD which is about ¥1000.
It cost around ¥300-400 when I buy them in Japan. So Kinokuniya is not reasonable for me, and of course going to Japan to buy manga is also not reasonable lol.

Furthermore I don't have a credit card so I can't order online =s

Anyone?

I usually bought manga from Amazon, until I found out there was a tabletop and comics store in the capital.

Now I venture to the capital 5-6 times every year and buy myself a few volumes.

I'd import if I could read Japanese manga... all I can do is buy what I can find, which is mostly just from B&N.
