There's got to be something in the water in Florida.

Or it could be because of the Bermuda Triangle.

Some electromagnetic wave that attracts the crazies to the state, maybe?

Instead of the 'Fountain of Youth' Juan Ponce de Leon had found the 'Fountain of stupidity'(Florida).

Yeah florida is messed up. I mean we got people in Connecticut who have mass killed kids and some guy going batshit insane in a theater (see what I did there?) from Colorado and stuff. Florida is terrible. I've only lived there for 4 years but I can honestly say I didn't enjoy the sun, beaches, or nice people.

If you're talking about Facebook, they took the pictures down and disabled his account as soon as it was reported to them, which was five hours after they were originally posted. It says that in the Yahoo! article that I linked to in my earlier post on this page.

Facebook does not control the content uploaded by its users, they can only moderate after the fact. No, I'm talking about the news page that then found the pictures and posted them as part of the article, and then deplores the perpetrator of the crime for posting them in the first place.

It's not up to a media outlet to decide whether or not pictures of a crime are made public - that's the police's juris diction. In the case of the internet, the outlet's fate will be determined by the law of their current country, which I imagine is US state law. I'm relatively sure no state law allows the media to publicise photos of a crime scene or further propagate evidence to a crime without express permission of the police and, in the case of victim photos, the victim's family.

And yet again I re-iterate; the outlet comments on the audacity of the perpetrator to post the pictures yet posts them on their own article without a care in the world.

If something is detestable for a perpetrator to do, it is detestable for anyone else to do also.

In a very twisted way, it looks like that guy was looking for fame. And social media found out. That poor woman, may her soul rest in peace. Murders disgust me, but these kind of stories disturb me so much. And it's sad because I said "stories", as in, more than one crazy thing has happened like this. Man. I can't bring myself to look at the picture- I'll probably puke and cry. And how much people LOVE Florida- retirement, vacation, etc. Never going there. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE.

Dear children, if you need to commit murder DON'T F#%KING POST IT TO FACEBOOK WITH A CONFESSION YOU STUPID TWAT.

Yeah, this guy is pretty much SOL. To begin with if he tries to play this as a domestic-abuse case the dice are loaded against him being the man. Beyond that, he posted a picture of her corpse to a social media site, used a terrible camera, and the Grammar-Nazis are going to ask for a summary execution based on that atrocious bit beneath the picture.

I think the best he can hope for is getting off on insanity based on posting a f#%king picture of her corpse.

I think the issue is, only ONE guy went "batshit" (that pun was so good it was bad) in Colorado, and only ONE guy flipped the fuck out and shot up a school, where as Florida has a history of drugs and vice (see what I did there?). Stack that on top of what may be one of the most important cases of the century in terms of politics, compounded with a guy posting a bad picture of a recent shooting victim makes it seem like a not good place.

Fuck all this shit. I'm going to Alaska.

I think the news I heard yesterday are worse than this...it's from New Jersey, about a 10 year old boy who killed his mother, father and sister. He said he wants to be a serial killer and live in the woods planning the deaths of his soon-to-be-victims.

Now, that's FUCKED UP. a 10 year old only O_O
