My family's too broke, and I'm too broke to pay for music right now. I had to help pay a bill recently, which basically drained all the money I did have. What's more important, paying for music, or bills? Bills.

I occasionally pay, if I can't find a download for a song, or if I have actual money to pay for something. Amazon is better than iTunes, most of their stuff is $0.99, while apple charges more for most things at $1.29.

Also, don't call piracy stealing, it's not the same thing as taking an item from the store without paying for it. It's a form of theft, but it's digital theft, ergo, it's not the same as taking something physical, it's taking a copyrighted song. I never had a problem with piracy from the day I started pirating.

Some people can't afford music, and I, right now, am one of those people. I have four bucks.

Capitalism is hilarious. It actually makes people think that you can steal music. Call me a rebel, but I'm going with logic on this one.

I use and pay for spotify.. If I like the band I'll buy their album off iTunes.. Artists really make fuck all!! (In the prog metal scene at least.. I'm seriously loving the scene at the moment with bands like tesseract, monuments, skyharbor, chimp spanner and the algorithm.. So doing anything I can to support them).

Honestly, both, I usually use something like grooveshark or Rdio. but sometimes I'll download the music illegally and listen to it a couple of times; if I love it I buy it on physical CD because I like owning Physical Copies of music,

Depends. iTunes doesn't have everything, so if I cant buy it ill download it. Also, if I hate the band but love the music I'll download. I like buying from new unpopular bands because they deserve it the most

I used to not pay when I was younger and had no money. Now that I'm older I have money I can spend and I enjoy music so I don't mind paying for it.

I usually buy music that i want to listen to it, inevitably though some things are out of print so it has to be downloaded because im not going to pay exorbitant fees for what was originally a ten dollar album; although I have downloaded an album to see if it is something I would like to own becuase of a lack of crossfade/samples/previews/etc.

Support music, but always download illegally. I can't afford to buy as much music as I go through (10-20 songs per day average). But I'll always pay to see a show.
