I know this post is old. But this just started happening to me yesterday. I am unable to stream on my laptop or desktop. I also by passed my router and plugged directly into the AT&T modem no change. Now here is the odd part. If I tether my laptop to my phone, the laptop is able to stream just fine. So this is making me think that AT&T is somehow blocking Crunchyroll stream traffic. However, my Xbox360, and android tablet on the same network that is blocking it on my laptop and desktop have no trouble streaming from Crunchyroll. Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? I have done ping tests and tracert test to both static.ak.crunchyroll.com and cp150757.edgefcs.net. with no issues.

Keep in mind that the device streams are served from a different CDN than the Flash streams for the website player.

It is more telling that you stated you don't have the problem when tethering your laptop to your phone (which would still be using the Flash streams). What carrier is your phone service with?

Phone is on Tmobile. But what ever the issue was with AT&T Uverse it seems to have been resolved. I can stream again from my laptop and desktop.

Now I'm getting this issue. I can't watch any video on CR from my PC, no matter what browser I am using. I can watch on my roku and other devices just fine though. Can't think of any changes I've made to my machine that would be the cause of this but I have uninstalled/reinstalled flash. No adblockers enabled (I'm premium anyway but whatever) either.

Edit: Hours later things are working fine...

Edit: Another day later back to not working. WTF is going on?

Can you post a link to an episode that is not playing for you? I'd like to try it. Thanks.

It's not any one specific video, it's any video. I can click on any of the featured videos on the home page and none of them will play. As I type this however, the videos are back to working (although I have to pause for varying lengths of time or they'll stutter-this isn't a problem with my internet connection either, the connection to my modem is wired but I have no stuttering issues with the apps on my Roku, phone or tablet which are all connected via wi-fi. Nor do I have this issue with any other video service e.g. YouTube, Netflix, Hulu etc). I haven't made any changes to anything on my PC(not that that completely rules out the problem being on my end I guess) but whenever I visit lately it's pretty much a roll of the dice as to whether I'll be able to play a video.

What resolution are you watching at? Have you tried using a lower resolution to see if playback performance is improved. Are you using your ISPs default DNS servers? Have you tried switching to Google Public DNS and/or OpenDNS to see if that improves the experience.

I watch at 1080p and changing the resolution does nothing. I am using Google DNS already.

Now it's back to not working so I went and checked my second computer to see if it would play there and it did. Came back to the main and it's still not working so it seems it's something specific to the settings on this machine somewhere at least. What it is I have absolutely no idea. Pretty baffling.
