I am trying to watch a few series and every 5 mins or so on every video I try to watch it plays in hd then drops to sd res then keeps doing that over and over. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have 50mbps ul and 10mbps dl speeds, even tried resetting my router and xbox. Videos are great on my pc no issues there.

I am on my trial and want to keep my membership but with this and the skipping issues I am not sure I will continue after the trial.

Have you confirmed these speeds with a speed test? I think CR recommends http://speedof.me on their tech support.

Xbox 360 uses adaptive streaming where it changes the bitrate/quality depending on what it thinks is suitable at any given time.

Whereas the browser version allows you to select a video quality and it manages to keep up.

Personally, I want to be able to select a preferred quality on my Xbox being as I watch from the armchair using a remote, not a keyboard. But I don't like not being in control of the quality.
("Power User", "Control Freak", call it what you will. But I like having ultimate control of settings and don't like the system second-guessing me)

I did test my speed and it is good, I am using hard wire. I tested it on wifi and it still does it.

Does that go the same for the skippage issues, or would you prefer those be posted in the thread?

Episodes where it skips the 10-20 seconds?

If emailed I tend to write them down on a pad of paper and then test them that day.

If in the thread it can sometimes be several days before I check. :/

Email really is the fastest way to have someone from CR help out!

I'm actually on the verge of cancelling my sub because of this. I pay for this service , I have internet speeds that can easily stream hd yet I'm getting tops 2 bars on my definition. I pay to watch good quality videos not this crap..... what is being done about this crunchyroll? Many of my friends unsubscribed because of this and I feel stupid for believing something will be done about it. Atleast give the OPTION to us.
