So I am still trying to get into the latest things of anime. I started backwards then most people and did all the unpopular animes first and then saw all the popular ones but I noticed that some people talk about animes like seasons on tv seasons so is this true? What's going on? Can I get a update in life lol

For anime that is broadcasting regularly, called a simulcast, there are four seasons a year in Japan: winter, spring, summer and fall obviously.

Winter shows usually start in January, occasionally late December. They end in March most of the time.

Spring April to June.

Summer July to September.

Fall shows start late September or October, finish in December.

Those are one cour shows. Two cour shows span two contiguous seasons.

Split cour shows are separated by one or more seasons.

Easy peasy? We are in summer now:

There's a list for the new season of anime coming out in Fall in the forums, so you can start with keeping up with your first season of new shows there. In a few weeks, if you keep up with the Crunchyroll news feed, you'll start seeing announcements of who is gonna stream what new anime (Crunchyroll usually gets most of them, thankfully, with Funimation getting the rest usually).

Basically all I'm saying is that if you stick around the Crunchyroll community and website, you'll be up to speed in time for next season. I should also mention that next season looks great, so you're pretty lucky

I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what you are asking, but it sounds more like you're looking for personal help answering some kind of question, and as personal/help threads aren't allowed in the forums I've locked and closed this thread.

If you are actually trying to launch a discussion, please first be sure it's not already something being discussed in an existing thread, and if not, then write it up in a way that it's more clear what the subject of discussion is.

It does look like hpulley figured it out and has given answers.

In the future please don't start new threads for stuff like this--ask it in the anime help thread instead (stickied at the top of the anime forum).
