lol wtf yes. Alaska has tons of mountains.
And yes plenty of people go ice fishing every winter.
You get an auger, drill a hole in the ice, and use a fishing pole to catch fish =] ( I'm telling you that we use fishing poles cause i'm not sure if you think we use spear or sticks or something ....)
lol
it does get pretty hot in the summer, 70-80 degrees is hot for me
and in the winter it can get around 20 below zero, some places like fairbanks can get up to 60 below zero but i dont live in fairbanks
Snowboarding is super fun, I can't wait to go when it snows this year. Snowboards are expensive though. I'm gonna buy a second one in october cause i need a longer board although my smaller one is fine but when the powder is very deep I struggle with it(unless I can get some good speed on a good enough slope)

California, and I love the state. the weather is ideal for me, the people I know are great, and theres a pretty broad diversity of everything. I grew up near sacramento, and that was nice, but now I live in the Bay Area, and I like it in general. Three things that annoy me though: Parking, Trains, and the expense of it all. I also love my college in Emeryville!

i'm from the side of connecticut closest to new york. to get into the city's about a half hour-45 minutes. i really love it here, the people are nice, there's a ton to do, and the weather is great. i mean it's a little on the expensive side, but nowhere near as pricey as some of the places i've dreamed of living. but i'm fine settling here, it's one of those places you're happy you can picture living for the rest of your life.

Wait...........here it comes-------------------Arkansas,the city Fort Smith,do I like it........it's Allright,I have been to a lot of places in the US. I wouldn't trade Fort Smith, heck no.Yes,it's a small town, and worst very conservative. We have a church every three blocks lol. What I like about it, the safety, and the people.

I am also from Arkansas! Well... Not from. I mean, it's where I'm currently rooted. lol

Clarksville, here. This town... It's a nice small town, but it feels like a cancer on the road map (as do a lot of other places in this state. Like Boogerhollow? Really, people?).

My family and I are moving back out to the NW (Oregon), near where we originated from.

I don't mind it here... But I feel like I want to get away and experience some new things now that I've graduated High School. -___- Just sucks that I won't get some of the in-state benifits anymore. Ugh. Student loans here I come!

Hopefully... I have good feelings about the NW. It'll be near a nice anime convention (Sakura-Con) which takes place in Seattle, Washington. There are lots of rivers and mountains around, I can't wait to go snowboard! (hey, maybe I'll go pro and be in the X-Games ).

Totally kidding.

I live in Southern Louisiana and it sucks. I am the total opposite of everyone that lives here. And it is always hot here.

I live in South Louisiana and I have mixed feeling about this place. I love it but at the moment I rather be somewhere else. This is my home and it will be forever, no matter where I end up.

Yeah it is freaking hot here! The sad part is that it isn't even September yet...

I live in New Orleans, La. It's pretty nice except for the occasional hurricanes and the state's backwards politics.

I can totally agree with you on the backwards politics... Gotta just love the Napoleonic Code.

I'm from the center of Connecticut, just outside of Hartford (the capital). I like it here, there's a lot to do, yeah it's a little pricey but it's also top notch.

Hey, couple others in Connecticut, that's cool. I'm happy here, all my friends that I grew up with are still around here, so that probably helps a lot.

Hittin the bars in Hartford (not really my thing), but once in a while is fun, was just there last weekend. Limerock is pretty cool too. I'm not even much of a racing fan, but it's still fun to watch with some friends and walk around.

Unless some amazing job pops up elsewhere, I could see myself staying here.
