So, what does everyone think in their opinion is the best manga series of this year? I'm also looking for some good recommendations. I'm new to crunchyroll but I'm an anime/manga fan but have been missing out lately.

The style of "tower of god" didn't really work for me. It¨s a shame though, because i've heard a lot of good things about it.

Wagatsuma-san wa Ore no Yome has been good to me so far this year. Lots of other ones such as Minamoto-kun Monogatari and such as well, although that didn't start this year.

I would say the style of "tower of god" is something you have to get use to, but once your use to it the story is amazing. Others that I've read that are quite good would be The God of Highschool, The Breaker, The Breaker New Waves ( basically season 2 of the breaker), Girls Of The Wild's and Kubera.

There really isn't much manga that's long enough to appreciate made in 2013. But I have recommendations :)

If it's utterly amazing art-style and interesting (kind of mediocre) plot I'd recommend Shokugeki no Soma. It's about a kid who wants to catch up to his dad in his cooking. Probably the only manga that makes me hungry.

For amazing plot-line, decent violence, politics, and war scenes, which also happens to be my favourite - would be Kingdom. I started reading last year on Mangawindow, it ranked somewhere in the 4000 mark, and I kept reading until it hit the #24 ranking. That's saying something. Anyway it's about the Chinese warring states era, something like that. Some kid aspiring to be a general. The downside is the art, but you learn to love it later on. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good manga.
