I would have to go with the PS2 just because it has SOOOO many games for it that I enjoy. Though I do have to give an honorable mention the the PC as I do enjoy using that as a platform I just don't have enough money to build one that is up for gaming.

My favorite gaming console is by far and away the PS2, with the DS a distant second.

Super Nintendo. The pre 3d games are still fantastic. Anybody up for a Co-op play for Secret of Mana?

Xbox original. Still use it. I play my favorites like Wreckless, Brute force, and this gem...

Sorry for a bit blurry. Used crappy cell phone camera and the light balance threw it off...

Mmm... Steel Batallion...

PS2.
I play it daily, I have a collection of 300 games, I think.
Most games are like $5-10 USD, so I buy a game whenever I see one.
PSP is my favourite handheld, just because all the stuff you can do with CFW.

Probably SNES since I loved that baby like no one else (sad it was sold). Current favorite station is 3DS.

SNES for the old nostalgia. Before gaming got serious for me.

Gameboy for handhelds. The one think Nintendo wont fuck up and actually gets different titles than recycling old Nintendo characters.

Both the Ps2 and Ps3 for when i got more serious into gaming. Way too many amazing games on both consoles.

The Genesis is my favorite. I grew up with it, so I have that special appreciation.

I wish Sega had stayed as fashionable as Nintendo ;3;

I have to say the Dreamcast for its fighting game library alone, being a fighting game aficionado myself!

Console: A tie for me between N64 and Xbox. N64 holds a lot of memories with some great games. And having the entire neighborhood all playing Goldeneye during the summer vacations was a blast. (You'd pass your controller to a different person if you were in 3rd or 4th place). We continued this on when Xbox/Halo came out, with 16 player Lan nights every Friday night. Some great times with 16-20 people all yelling and smack talking with each other.

Handheld: I'd have to say my 3DS. I've had just about every handheld that has come out, but I think I've had the most fun playing on the3DS.

PC: What can I say, its had some amazing games over the years. First game I ever played was Red Storm Rising back on the friggin Amiga my uncle had. (think I was 8 or 9 at the time) Its what got me hooked on gaming

I'd say SNES since there were many amazing gems that I've got the pleasure of playing over the years, and other interesting ones. For instance, Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle for the SNES. Anime wasn't even at its peak popularity back then, and Ranma 1/2 was still released for the SNES. But what placed it above all others for me were the music that accompanied the games... They were simply amazing with all the soundboard limitations they had with the system. I'd argue that it were those graphical and sound limitations that gave way to such incredibly ingenious game designs.

My other favorite would be the PC, but the modular design of it puts it more in the "general" category than "gaming" for me. Still, it gave me some of the best gaming experiences of all time. From being a super soldier, to an ace space pilot, then as a battle-worn mech pilot, before finally ending up as a supreme field commander. Of course, I can't ever forget RPGs like Might & Magic, The Elder Scrolls, and Ultima (with their 300+ page manuscripts and detailed cloth maps). lol
