PC, but since it's a console gaming thread, my favortite console ever was either the Wii or the PS3 in terms of time i spent on it, though it's not even a 1/100th of the time i spent on PC games.

Gamecube. By a long shot for me. I guess there's a big chunk of nostalgia in there, but most of my all time favourite games are on the Gamecube - Wind Waker, Skies of Arcadia (I know it was originally on the Dreamcast), Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario TYD etc..

Xbox 360 for the amount of time I've put into certain games on it. Also, it's the only source I used for online multiplayer for years and years so that really helped seal it. I really had some good times and long play on SNES, N64, and GameCube though.

I'm sure it'd have been PS3 if I had one, but I got gifted 360 early on and stuck with it. I'll bail on MS next gen though.

My favorite at the moment is my PS Vita. Beautiful graphics, fun JRPGs, and I just find it so much more convenient to play on a handheld, instead of a console.

After the Vita, I'd say I don't really have a favorite. My 360 and PS 3 both have strengths and weaknesses and both have a great library of games. I do have fond memories of the PS 2 I use to have, but my 360 and PS 3 both see more use than my PS 2 ever did. My Xbox One is too new to factor in on which is best. Playing Forza on it was great, but right now it's main use is for streaming netflix and hulu.

The original Sony Playstation.

Sure, the biggest draw to the PS1 was the JRPG's (given that Final Fantasy was the CoD of the 5th generation), but the PS1 was more than that. The PS1 had the largest library of games at its time, and not only were a lot of the games good, but they were also very, very, very varied.

I guess the PS2 would go on to improve upon the genres and game systems that the PS1 had, but in my opinion, the PS1 has a far superior library to either the PS2 or the PS3, by sheer virtue of the number of JRPG's, as well as the sheer number of quality games on the PS1.

To further cement the PS1's legacy, I have already spent a lot of money on the PSN to complete my PS1 collection on my PS3/PSVita. It's funny how, in the face of all these new games, the ones I feel that impress and interest me the most are still my good ol' PS1 games from the late 90's...

PC. With all the steam sales I have become less of a gamer and more of a game collector.

Oh, but that goes without saying. Who doesn't love monochromatic screens, bulky headgear, nothing unique or interesting in their title library, and constant headaches all delivered in one beautiful bundle?

Xbox 360. New systems can wait. I'm still happy here.

A Wii U looks fun though!
