Fortunately, I've learned to not expect an anime to have a good ending. The majority that I've watched have endings that are forgettable, bad, confusing, very sad or depressing, or just plain stupid.

Consider Eureka Seven:

Or Clannad:

You have to judge carefully how much you should invest in an anime, knowing that it could end up disappointing you.

Regarding Eureka Seven, unless they changed the ending when it aired on CN, that isn't how I remember it ending.

Clannad: After Story tends to color people's memories, but that wasn't how it ended. Perhaps it fell under the "forgettable" category for you, and you only remember the part that came shortly before.

That aside, pulling off a good ending is one of the most difficult tasks in fiction.

What he stated to be the ending for eureka seven was the correct ending of the anime. CN might have never aired the last episode or may have censored it and taken it out. So if you go watch the original Japanese one you will see it.

However when it came to Clannad after story he was wrong with the ending.

On the note of anime, i was quite disappointed with the OVA's. I honestly can't stand having endings where they havent set and shown the "real" ending. I understand that it may make you think what could end up happening, however i dont want to just think of what i would like to happen, I want the actually ending where the author chooses the person he would end up with. It just gave me the feeling of the typical annoying harem ending that i hate seeing.

I dont want to imagine the endless possibilities there could have been, I want to see a ending where someone actually gets chosen

I watched it once--that was enough. I'm going to pretend the second season doesn't exist--especially the OVAs.

gross and disgusting, incest is wrong. I think these shows are focused to people who dont have siblings to realize how uncomfortable it is watching the ova's. What a great way to end good relationships with nice girls and go to second base with your sister. ehhhh... .second season sucked soo bad.

So I just started watching this series a few days ago and now I find out the last three episodes are getting taken down. I'm thinking of watching the last three before season 2, which I know is ludicrous, but I would like to see it to the end even if that ending is disappointing.

You have until 9pm PDT which is 11pm CDT. That's 12.5 hours, more than enough time to marathon all 16 episodes! Heck, you can do 16 episodes in 6 hours if you skip the OP, ED and preview of the next episode you can do 3 per hour, if you're quick 5.5 hours tops. You can do it!!! Just need some Depends...

Heck, you can watch all of season 1 first LOL

Yes, I've thought of that...but I kinda have other things I should be doing (college work). I'll just start with season 2 for now.

Where are your priorities? I'm just kidding... Watch the OVAs at least, or all of season 2. Actually Crunchyroll does NOT have the OVAs for season 1 so if you haven't finished season 1 then it doesn't really matter as the ending of season 1 on Crunchyroll does not really feed into the beginning of season 2. You may actually be less confused if you just watch season 2 and the OVAs...

Yea I made sure to watch season 1's OVAs before starting season 2, I'd be completely lost without them. The "bad" ending was better than the "good" ending in my opinion, even though the pacing of this anime is kinda throwing me off.

Sorry, I do have a sister. I'm still not bothered by it.

Its just my opinion, but i think anything that goes with incest or loli is pretty gross. But those are just my preference i guess. I really like the 1st season but it just ended in bad taste for me. It really ruined the show for me, and got borderline creepy when he reached out for his sister boob and kissed her at the end. But eh " to each its own" i guess.

So that explains why I had no clue wtf was going on when the second season started. I know they had flashbacks to the OVAs I guess, but the whole time I was like what the hell, I don't even remember that, I watched the end of the season the night before!

WHOA, thanks for the update. I overlooked that it was time-limited. When I first heard this exciting news, I figured I'd take my time getting to it since there were so many good simulcasts going on...
