And with that comes the ending of a great anime! Glad that this anime actually followed the light novel

Mixed feelings on the ending. It ended well which is pretty rare in anime, by which I mean it ended in a way that settled the story(It made sense why it ended that way). However I find it hard to enjoy the ending when there was enough there to carry on a little longer and end it on a positive note.

If this is genuinely the end of the story, and judging by the light novels it kinda seems like it is then I'm somewhat disappointed. I would risk ruining the ending by having a go at tying up broken bonds with all the characters. Its such a shame to have watched all the episodes only for everything to take a dramatic downwards spiral. I have nothing wrong with an anime deciding to go down the "destruction" route for an ending but this really wasn't the type of anime to do that in my opinion.

In all honesty I will hold the series in high regard because of high quality and because I respect that the author decided to stick to their guns and end it the way they wanted to, but from a fan perspective I really, really hope that there is a new chapter down the road.

Ever know something is going to happen, or a plot is going somewhere and it's going to basically spit on something you previously enjoyed, even if that was the original intent of the Author/Creative team all a long? Yeah. That's how I feel about the ending.

Warning a spoiler heavy but brief rant follows.

Well firstly I like to point out Saori was never spurned properly and only slightly alluded too so I like to believe she is the proper adult decision. As for the rest of these girls and the anime revolve around Kyouske growing up and realizing a greater relationship with his sister. As for what happened to the other women I wanna say he did this to prove to Kirino the importance of her in his life as well as himself realizing that he only liked the other girls for part of their personality similarities to Kirino which would help with the explanation of burning the bridges at the end.

To conclude and sorry for the text block I believe it outlines what is needed for a healthy adult relationship as well as a coming of age story. My opinion entirely of course as I try to rationalize my loss of sanity at the overwhelming despair as I watched all these bridges burnt.

WHY CANT I HAVE A HAREM ENDING!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear if they don't make an alternate ending with ayase I don't know what I'll do D: They can't go around calling this the true ending that's not possible D:. I knew they had something, but if you're going to go all siscon then why the hell don't you go all the way with it before pissing off all of the people who were rooting for characters who are who Kyousuke should have stayed with in the first place. Please reference the title of this anime if you think that this ending was a surprise.

I myself felt it was pretty obvious that this pairing would happen. I am happy also that the author decided to go with the ending that he wanted.

I enjoyed the show immensely.

I had tons of fun watching this series. A good friend of mine put me on to the series.
I looked at him in a fairly ... judgmental manner to be frank about the title.
He said " It becomes quite good however you have to get over the implied incest in the title"
My thoughts Alright be open minded. I was a really like the series.
He was a Ayase kind of guy and I'm a Kuroneko fan.

Now to the spoiler territory

I'm only mad because he didn't end up with Kuroneko. :< (It's not like you guys didn't feel all the feels, too). I really don't get why he turned down every girl (Kuroneko) just so he could have a few day romance with his little sister. I mean, i'm okay with him being with Kirino, i like her and all, especially after the OVAs, but really, why didn't they stay together...?

As someone so eloquently put it in the thread on the episodes page:

Manami was a woman, the rest were girls.
