Hey guise,

-Does anybody in Crunchyroll dance? ( Well of course anyone can! So trick question) :D
What genres do you guys do, love or want(ed) to learn?
-Care to share your story how you guys dance? Moments where you had fun, struggle and worked hard for a :(degree, a stellar move, or just for fun experience?)

To Cr peeps who went serious into the dancing buzzinass , have you guys been successful in locking gigs, showcases, etc after post secondary? It would be amazing if you guys can post your experiences!

-

For me, I was made fun a lot for dancing when I was young so I stopped, and a few years later my parents made me apply for a dance school ,having no experience for years -__-, and of course I didn't make it. However, now I have a job I try to invest my time instead of lounging on the computer screen to get back into it!

My embarrassing moment was when I was just flailing my arms in a club and everyone just stared at me awkwardly. ( but hey I was having fun!)

I'm still a newbie at Contemporary , Jazz and Hip Hop.
I would love to learn Waacking and maybe even Go-Go dancing ( to be seductive )

I work a lot of parties being a photographer. When time allows for it at the event, I like to line dance- Achy Breaky Heart, a lot of Mexican songs, Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, etc.

I sometimes samba or grind with the guests. I even slow dance with the brides at the money dance if the family is all cool and such.

Even when I'm not on the dance floor, I still be jamming while talking pictures.

Dancing is fun, even if you not good at it, especially when you have a couple of drinks in you, and especially if the drinks are free, which is my case most of the times. "LAWL"

EDIT: I don't dance sober. "LAWL"

I do! I'm actually on my school dance team. Our style is hip-hop and we compete!
But I won't be giving out the name for confidentiality issues with personal information. :-)

*edit* (didnt realize you were asking for more than just a yes or a no) Gomen

I want to learn contemporary and belly dancing as well as pole dancing (yes, but im not going to use it to make money). In terms of struggles etc, i had trouble keeping up with some of my school work when i was a sophomore in high school as the practices would meddle in with my study/homework time. But actually, I learned a lot of discipline from it. It also gets my body in shape as we condition to make sure we're fit. I think dancing is a great extra curricular activity! I've also learned to express myself in a different way (performance). Really cool experience!

That Carlton dance made me laugh so hard! , he loved that Tom Jones song lol

The best part of clubbing or going out dancing is that your with friends and having a good time doing whatever dance either good or the sprinkler. I say dance and throw your arms in the air like you just dont care. I've mostly just done hip hop dance choreography solo or on groups/teams though

a couple months ago we had a little culture festival at my school, and my class decided to focus on spanish culture. since there were no jobs left for me to do, i got stuck in the dancing group. i normally hate dancing, but i learned how to do a couple dances like the salsa and the merengue and we preformed them the night of the festival. it was actually a lot of fun, so no, i don't really dance, but it is pretty fun and i'd probably do something like that again

I used to dance for five years. I did:

-Ballet

-Tap

-Jazz

-Lyrical/Contemporary (my favorite)

- Acro

- Contortion

To be honest I was really good, and the top dancer at the school. I was selected to be on the competition team, and to be a solo-competitor. I was the only person in the history of the school to get a free pass to be on the special preforming arts team (usually, you HAD to take a summer course and then be selected).

Unfortunately, things went very wrong in my private life, and the year after I was forced to quit due to circumstances beyond my reach and the school closed down that same year several months later because of some fraud dealings between teachers.

After all these years, I still miss it very much. If I had stuck with dance, I would have absolutely majored in it.

I still dance in my free time though for fun, and I'm considering taking up some type of ballroom dancing.

I pop, not like Nsync pop but like actual popping and robot and stuff like that. I need to work on tutting and footwork before I can actually call myself a popper though.

Does head-banging count? Aside from idiotic dancing that may or may not be the result of alcohol, it's usually a no-no. Brings back embarrassing memories of being forced to dance in school... Surely I'm not the only one, who, upon being told to get into a boy-girl pair, ended up with the teacher.

I'm a terrible dancer. I feel so awkward and I think I might have two left feet.
But I do know how to do the waltz, lol.

I've always had a thing for ballroom , maybe since when I get old. I won't be able to be do fast paced dancing ,meaning ballroom would be a more suitable choice. Hmm proper dancing? I don't get that :S
