I re-watched School Days recently, and it left me feeling like crap. Again.

No regrets though.

for me it's Hakuoki and Amnesia
those anime that are based on otome games always have a cliffhanger/undecisive/sappy ending....

1. Oreimo 2 OVAs
2. School Days

No more needs to be said if you've seen these series. It sucks that I can't recommend such a great anime like Oreimo anymore because of the absolutely horrible ending.

Fate/Zero left me feeling like crap because of how sexist the anime is and how it treats women.
Yuck.
That anime still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, despite how good it should have been.
One those times when you can't believe you ever watched something so bad and poorly written.

Note: I'm only half joking

Double note: No, no I'm not.

Seriously, Fate/Zero made me feel about as as disgusted and unsettled as possible.
In terms of sadness and driving me into a full on depression, I'd say the early episodes of Naruto, and the entirety of Kimi Ni Todoke left me wondering why the world wasn't a better place, and made me cry for all of 3 minutes(give or take a few hours after the fact).

Sexist? How? Yeah, none of the female characters had a very happy ending, but neither did many of the male characters either.

Rewatch the anime buddy, watch it, and watch it* with some goddamn glasses. I watched that thing, and I'm a dude, and it's still made throw up in my mouth.
Hands down one of the most disgusting, male centered, sexist, male power fantasy girls-only-exist-to-either-die-for-the-aptly-emotionless-male-hero bullshit I've ever seen.
Fate/Zero (i have absolutely no interest in watching the rest of the series btw), has some of the worst writing I've ever seen. The female characters exist solely to fulfill the hollow insult this anime passes for character development.
Disgusting.
I suggest you watch that show again with some goggles on and forget the fact that the show is basically built to cater to the male dominance fantasy and then come back to me. If that doesnt work, ask a girl (irl), if she thinks that show is fair to women.
If that still doesn't work for anyone, then rest assured that the world is beyond hope for gender equality in anime.
Saber is the only female character in this series that comes even remotely close to qualifying as her own character instead of some useless throwaway set piece for our conflicted male heroes, and that isn't very much.
Saying Saber is a fully fledged, interesting and not all too stereotypical female character is worse than saying nothing at all.

You know, I should start a thread about this or something.....wtv tho...

You mind giving some specifics rather than broad general statements? And you seem to know an awful lot about a series you never finished.
