This is an interview on Russel Brand's show where he brings on two guests who are (assuredly) strong, vocal players of the WBC.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBA6qlHW8po

I honestly cannot even bring myself to understand (I'm being totally serious) that men like this truly do exist. If they do, how they have any friends or even family.

I'm not exactly hateful or spiteful to them for the way they speak and live...I just can't bring myself to any kind of understanding as to how...they can truly say what they do with utter confidence. These guys actually believe that they are heroes, changing the world one step at a time! Russel Brand handles this interview like a saint, thankfully. I imagine on any other show this would have been quite ugly.

I didn't realize what WBC meant until I watched the video. Now, I have watched the video, and my poor brain now can say: "No, people like this don't exist. They are being used by the New World Order to make religion seem ridiculous! It's part of the countless conspiracies against us!"

Considering that at least something like five and a half billion people on this planet subscribe to some form of religion an that Westboro Baptist Church is known to have something like forty members, I think it's less likely that they are puppets of some conspiracy but more likely a vanishingly small and not at all representative group at the bottom of a very large barrel.

They say it with confidence because they believe what they are saying is true.

People like this do exist and I don't dislike them, they just have their ideals and are preaching them. What is there to dislike?

Russel's a douche, there's a reason why Katy Perry left him

Indeed, mad props to Russel Brand for his restraint and conduct. He kept things relatively civil, went out of his way to let his guests have their say, and managed to still keep things entertaining. He handled it brilliantly.

Every day is opposite day for the WBC. Hate means love, love means hate, and everybody wants to get punched in the arm. They're sideshow freaks and I view every encounter with people like them as a photo opportunity.

Yet we all know of them...They're testing the RFID chip on this small group! Spraying the crops, ruining our thinking capabilities!

By the way, I am not at all serious.

Well, I can agree that the Bible does say all that, but I'd also have to say that if you truly believe in God and the Bible, then there are no parts that are more "important" than the other like this awesome guy was making out. It's all equally important if that's what you choose to believe. You really can't pervert a religion by picking certain things from it and then ignoring other things that the particular religion's holy doctrine states.

That being said, I personally believe that homosexuality is unnatural, but I won't condemn people for choosing to live like that. Human beings have free will for a reason, and that's to live your life any damn way you want.

But yes... There are MANY people like this. It's practically every Baptist church.

Well, I think redheads are unnatural, but I suppose that they can choose to live that way if they want to, what with this free will thing you're talking about.

Thanks anyway, but I'll pass on the pseudo-support.
