I simply had a nice message, and you decided to be a jerk, without even knowing me, so speaks true to who you are. I was simply saying love one another, that doesn't imply affectionate love, or sexual love. There are different degrees of love. Love and respect people. I'll never understand why it's so hard for people to just be kind.

Right. So you apparently have the power to fully know who I am, yet there's no way I could possibly know you.

Truthfully, neither is true. I don't know you, nor do you know me. I was only commenting on your post format. Also, I don't flame people, but you're free to attempt quoting me from anywhere in order to prove me wrong, good luck with that.

So does this mean you love me?

So based on my post format, you decided to be a jerk? Well played sir, well played. I never said I fully knew you? You seem to like to jump to conclusions a lot I'm gathering. I'm aware of WHO you are, does that imply I know you personally, no. I've seen you posting around a lot, you're extremely argumentative and seem to like to push buttons from what I've seen as of late.

Does this mean I love you? Ha. You're still taking it so literal. It doesn't mean I'm in love with you. It means I don't pass judgment on people for trivial things such a sexuality or race was my entire point of my post. The fact that you started this whole thing PROVES you like to flame and push buttons. You didn't have much to say other than to make yourself look like a jerk towards me. I'm fully aware of who I am as a person. I know that I'll help anyone I can, and show the love and respect people deserve, even if they've hurt me.

So sure, I love you. I love everyone and think everyone needs to calm their tits and stop being douchbags to everyone, was my point.

I don't know what you're talking about. A sharp tongue does not an argumentative person make. Though I will admit I enjoy debate. Still waiting on those quotes though. I'm fully aware of who I am as a person too.

All it proves is I find that format of posting to be flippant and unnecessary. I'm not like, freaking out in my room doing cartwheels over it, just pointing out that it seems pretentious.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, *hug*.

Honestly I have a tendency to think of these things as being a little more serious. Many like to come in and be the "moderator" of these topics. Be the one "chill" person in the thread saying, hey, everybody should just accept everybody! The thing is, people like this actually tarnish the future of the country as a whole. They impede progress.

This makes it a little more personal than just the simple choice of accepting someone for who they are or not. They are a thorn and an actual obstacle that needs to be either removed or quieted, or it will always be there making things more difficult for the vast majority of the rest of us.

It's not a means of being pretentious for me. I like making things look nice or different. Not everyone's gonna like it and that's fine with me. I'm not here to please folks. I'm not here trying to be a moderator. I don't see how it tarnishes anything. Being rude and judgmental does. Being kind to people doesn't mean you have to become a doormat. You don't have to take people's shit. But if people all encountered one another with a little less judgement and a little more kindness, things would probably change for the better.

The entire point of my post, was that love isn't a privilege it's a human right and that everyone deserves to be treated nicely, not for anything based on their sexuality, gender or race. You took it to a weird extreme. You may like to argue, there's nothing wrong with that, but it as it's limits. The way you started your initial post, wasn't nice or respectful. So that just goes back to my point that people should be nicer, that doesn't tarnish anything for you to be nice to someone on a forum who didn't say or do anything rude to you

I'm currently attending a University with people like this. Thankfully most are a little quiet with their hate for homosexuality, but I'm sure a few of them actually think like this and I've even heard a few voice their opinions.

I mostly ignore it. They're just brainwashed anyway in my mind.
There are sensible ones without a doubt, but I feel like there's not enough here.

Back home though in Mass the people there would never tolerate opinions like this,

It's like, there is no written medium either educational or informative where aligning your paragraphs in the center like that is done, so why do it? Sounds like you're just enforcing bad habits. It's more effort. Irritating to everyone else, and it looks like you want attention. Sounds like a win all around to just not do it. That's all. There's really no point in discussing it further, it's not like I can stop you from doing it, just saying how it looks that's all *whistle.

A weird extreme...? Not quite sure I see how I did that...

Love is earned in my opinion. There are two levels of respect. Basic human respect, then utmost respect. Only basic human respect is necessary for everyone. Love and utmost respect are indeed a privilege.

The real question is, why do you care?

Yes, a weird extreme. Me posting about how hateful the WBC is, and how everyone deserves love, has turned into you talking about how loving people tarnishes things and yada yada. As for the paragraph thing, you're the only one to complain so. I've been quotes many times, and not a word was mentioned. So it sounds like it mostly bothers you and a small handful of others

Like I said before, there are different degrees of love. At least that's how I feel. I never said my word is law. So be how you wanna be, and I'll continue treating people with a little more respect.

You're over-thinking it.

So instead of constantly repeating yourself that love has varying degrees...which degree of love is being discussed when those men in the video use the word?

Zippy boy here is bothered by everything.
He sees a baby licking a lollipop, he blames the mom for giving it a lollipop.
He sees a leaf falling down, he calls the leaf weak for not sticking to the stem.
He sees a user using center text, he throws fit for no apparent reason.

His obsession to argue with people is real.
It's no use arguing with him about love.
He is just incapable of that feeling.
Let alone be capable of using a brain to see what's right and what's wrong.

Poor it.

The WBC are terrible examples of Christianity, and I have no idea how they can say the things they do with no consideration to the people they're offending. The first step towards having a conversation with someone and change their ideals is certainly not to offend and repel them.

On the other hand, it seemed like Russel Brand came into the conversation attempting to just shoot jokes at them as much as possible instead of hearing out what they had to say. Although it was appropriate when they began to drag on, he cut them off mid-sentence way too often, often times pointing fun at them and promptly changing the subject.

Overall, I think both sides in the argument had valid points, but I don't think that either was really proving their point effectively. But unfortunately yes, people like that do exist. You just have to turn your head and let them talk into the wind.

Preach it sis. I'm not going to waste my time anymore on trying to explain myself to someone who wont listen or even care. Arguing for the sake of arguing seems to just be who he is.

His opinions are rather useless most of the time.
Tbh a 5-year old makes better points than him.

I mean, what good is a 5 paragraph-long post
if the content is garbage that no one would care enough to read if wasn't quoted?

Center text >>>> Too long a post no one cares about
