Samsung galaxy s4. i had cyanogen mod on it for a bit but then i realized that the s view case doesnt work with that rom so i switched to a sammy rom instead ^^; one thing that i sorta hate about sammy roms is that they eat a LOT of resources and so the battery life becomes short. back when i had cm10.1 it was lasted a lot longer.

Actually ... I don't.

I found that saving money was more effective without a smart phone.

So, I have the world's most plain phone. A simple flip phone. Love it, I charge it once a week, don't need to worry when I drop it since it is built like a rock, and best of all? I'm saving oodles on my monthly bill.

Had a Xperia Play but just got a S4 this month. I gave my Xperia Play to my mom and she loves it. She's not really into technology and only needs a couple of apps and games so she doesn't even come nowhere near feeling up the little internal storage space it has.

I love my S4 though, it's the best phone I've ever had. Was thinking about getting a note 3 but meh I thought that would be overkill with how big the screen is (even though I love the stronger specs). Which I found out to be true because I can't even fully navigate my s4 with just one hand lol.

You really should look into a low end smartphone. They can be had for as little as $50 sans contract and depending on your carrier the plan should be no more that your flip phone. If for no other reason I'd have mine just for the authenticator apps.

I make due without, plus, my contract, through my carrier, is old as dirt and I'm 'grandfathered in' so I'm happy with my 1000 minutes a month, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited text for $43 after taxes ...

Can't beat that, not at all.

Spending more on a smart phone that I don't need means biting into the funds for more anime, manga, etc.

That is not a good thing.
