How would you value the subjective?
What's the most you would pay and why so much / why not more?

I'd pay nothing. Personally, this is something you could doodle in the middle of a class at school, or something you can whip up in Microsoft Paint, (if you made this in that program, no offense.)

There are paintings that have a few brushstrokes that go for millions of dollars. I find that a waste of money.

If someone wants to call that art, they can. Just, please don't spend my taxpayer money to get that put up in city hall.

Pretty sure I made something pretty similar to this at the age of 10.

I wouldn't pay a dime, but maybe a penny.

Not really, no. Then again at our local art museum there's a painting called "The Thought Process" or something, it's a 2000 dollar painting.
It's literally orange.
Like, no, seriously.
It's just orange.
Someone took orange, covered the paper with it, and sold it for over 2k to a museum.
I really don't understand 'art' any longer.

Looks more like an optical illusion to me.

Art is like music and poetry, some people get it and some don't.

A lot of people say a 5 years old can make the same art that professional artists make, this like saying beating two pans together can make music.

Yes I would call that art.

I don't know if I would pay much for it for a couple of reasons. First it looks like it has been done on a computer with Microsoft Paint (a.k.a. a very low degree of difficulty, skill, and time l went into making it). Second it's not really the type of art that I would have in my house.

Now if it was a hand drawing or painting I could see it being worth more depending on how skilled the artist is. I still don't know if I would want it in my house if it was black and white, but maybe if it had some color or some shading I would like it more.

You know what, i've honestly sat here for 15 minutes just looking at that picture asking myself "Is this art' and I still don't know. It's the weirdest thing, - it's like my own mind is at an impasse with itself. I feel like I can't say yes or no with any confidence, and i have no idea why.

Edit: This sort of reminded me of when I listened to Stockhausen's Klavierstücke. I was utterly convinced that those pieces of music were utter garbage, but apparently they're art. Art is weird like that.

But I guess i'll say "no" because I don't think you need to be terribly creative to make something like that. I'd probably pay 5-15 dollars for it (assuming it was high quality and well-framed not MS paint style). It's pretty cool looking, but it's really not my style. That's the only reason why the price is so low.

LOL this is funny!

Reminds me of the time me and my friends went on a school trip to an art museum, and our guide was being so serious about describing the "feeling" behind this painting with 3 lines of paint on it... We were just standing there trying not to laugh

About the picture, I wouldn't pay for it... I mean, I think I could just copy it and hang it up on my wall if I wanted to

1. Yes it is art.
2. I like it.
3. No, I wouldn't buy it.....
4. ...because I can draw/paint whatever I want myself.......and that image you posted doesn't match my decor.

Technically yeah it's art, but technically Justin Bieber music is also art so saying it is art doesn't count for much.

It's interesting, but I can't find the cat, and I've been staring at it for like ten minutes. I think you need to fix the bugs and try again.

Something like this is more like a cool tattoo design or something like that. for me art shows a scene of something or other. It's a picture, and this is many circles.
