Well,

there's an owl mask:

the bear:

And the head of a dog to the side.

so it is art in a sense.

but I wouldn't pay for it.

it is something created, even if it took like 5 mins or whatever. I consider it art, just not great art. I wouldn't buy it, even though I'm a fan of geometrics.

in the words of Andy Warhol, "Art is what you can get away with."

Not really, no. Then again at our local art museum there's a painting called "The Thought Process" or something, it's a 2000 dollar painting.
It's literally orange.
Like, no, seriously.
It's just orange.
Someone took orange, covered the paper with it, and sold it for over 2k to a museum.
I really don't understand 'art' any longer.

lol i actually understand it, its poetic. i also find it stupid but witty at the same time. the thought process, you would draw a blank on most occasions. the color orange can signify alot and also the shade. im thinking the shade is similar to the orange fruit. in which to me signifies health, happiness, and creativity.

art is weird by nature, but if you get it that great and if you enjoy it all the better. if it erupts an emotion, then its done its job. if you don't, then move on to the next piece.

anywho,
i feel like we are doing your homework.

anywho.
to me the art represents chaos and confusion in the simplest of form.

its not something i want to have near me, so its of no value.

i'm more interested in the story behind the image.
the money just come as a bonus

The value of a piece of art is up to you.
To understand a piece is entirely different.

so many movements. so little people who understand history.

^-o what you have there is just a bunch of circles drawn on your paint program.
*ironically it can betaken as a statement to how little value you place upon the visual arts*

every piece of art has a meaning. (a reason to exist)

i'm that tour guide that you would be laughing at.

If someone wants to call that art, they can. Just, please don't spend my taxpayer money to get that put up in city hall.

LOL, love this comment

They had these lovely old historical trollies in Seattle, but they stopped running them because the city decided to put this sculpture up where their shed was:

Is it art? Yes. How much wold I pay for it? $15. I would be willing to go to twenty five and maybe even forty five to sixty, depending. But it doesn't really look too professional.

I dont think its fair that art is worth a penny but thats just me. But lets say this artwork is enlarge into a size of a wall. It could provide a different effect. Usually when I see these kind of artworks on a textbooks, its boring. But when its presented differently, it can be good.

If
can be considered art, I do not see why that image can not be.

I would not pay for it though, nor would I pay for the images above.

I guess it could be art, but I wouldn't pay cash for this .
I mean, I could make something similar to this with ms paint for free if I wanted it.

Some people don't understand that certain pieces of "artwork" that are really simple but sell for a lot...are priced so high because it was made by a certain artist. The value of the piece, in this case, is not based on its merits as artwork, but based on the value of the artist. It's a weird concept, but some artists are really popular and people would buy anything from them...

well technically speaking you could call it "art" one definition of art being: The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting.
but it isn't anything special so it is not worth money to see.
