This is meant to collect a list of cosplay sources - wigs, props, anything that could be useful to your fellow cosplayers.

The rule is that you must have bought from the source that you're recommending - secondhand source info is good to have, but I want to keep this as a list of shops you can personally suggest. I will update this first post with new links as they come in. Feel free to add to new categories if they aren't listed yet!

This is also not a place for stores to advertise. This is for purchasers, not sellers!

Where do you shop?

I am a newbie, only have tried azurebuy.com for a Vocaloid miku costume and a wig. Thanks for the sharing. It's great that I can have more choice next time.

I've only ever used clown makeup for a Piccolo cosplay - though I do recommend it, that stuff stays on well!

Do you have any allergies or anything? That's one thing I see come up with makeup on occasion.

I've seen some impressive looking cosplay eye makeup kits, but only from resellers like on eBay. Almost everyone I know goes for waterproof makeups because of sweating in the cosplay, but I don't really know more than that. I'll ask around!

I know lots of people who get it from http://www.cosplaysupplies.com/store.php?s=UN4V or http://yayahan.bigcartel.com/product/worbla-thermoplastic-l-size-39-25-x-59. I haven't bought from either of those, though, that's why I haven't been able to recommend them in the top post yet...

GREAT place to get contacts. I purchased my red contacts for my Kuro Usagi cosplay (my profile pic) from here and wore them all day without any dryness or discomfort. Superfast shipping PLUS your contacts come with the cutest holders - mine was shaped like two little fish :3

Hi,

A reminder, this thread is for users to recommend places to purchase items. NOT for business or spammers to create accounts simply to push their sites. Doing so will get them listed in the "Places to Avoid" group above.

Here is a great website to get LED light's

http://www.superbrightleds.com/

they got a lot of LED strips, bulbs and cords. Make sure you check the brightness level for the LED'S anything 3bulbs or lower is great for cosplays but anything 4+bulbs is deathly bright unless you want to blind your fellow cosplayers hehe..

Haha.. yeah, learned that the hard way working on my pictured gauntlet. Before those LEDs were put into the resin gem, they hurt..
