Most Iconic Scene in Anime?

For me, there have been one or two 'moments' in anime, that if I had to explain to a non-anime fan why it is that I love anime as much as I do, they'd be the examples I'd give. Particularly as I'm 28 years old, and people who don't 'get it' tend to have a view that anime is in someway childish.

However, I've probably been through every emotion possible while watching anime, and there were a few scenes that I think will always stick with me.

My number one, is 'Nina' in Full Metal Alchemist. Anyone who's seen/read it, knows exactly what I'm talking about. When I saw it for the first time, I hadn't read the manga, and no-one had spilled the beans to me. So, for me, the dawning realisation of what had happened, feeling connected to Ed because it seemed we were figuring it out at the same time (lol), and the genuine shock at such a bold and unnerving scene making its way to tv, make this my most iconic moment.

And yes, when I watched Brotherhood, I cried my eyes out, even though I knew it was coming
