If you've played Skyrim, you will recall that choosing a class has no impact on your choice of weapons, armor or the use of Magicka (mana). Class only affects your spell and ability trees, as each class has specific trees, just as each race has its own special abilities, but I digress.
Currently, the classes are:
The Dragon Knight is a very adaptable fighting class that is a lot like a mystical martial arts master! There is a lot of flexibility within the skillsets for this class that allow for tanking, being an assassin, or even using ranged attacks. Dragon Knights have use of the Ardent Flame spells which consist of several active and passive abilities.
The Sorcerer is a very powerful class that can inflict massive damage to others. Of all the classes, it can truly bring the hurt with a staff. The Sorcerer can summon/cast weather phenomena with Storm Calling, summon minions with Daedric Calling, or control enemies with Dark Magic.
Nightblades are at their best when hiding in the shadows, ready to pounce on their targets. They deal more damage when using stealth, and are most effective when wielding light weapons and wearing medium armor. Nightblades can carry out a lucrative existence as thieves and pickpockets, as well as being cunning assassins. The stamina pool is of utmost importance to maintaining stealth.
This thread will be updated as the game develops further.
Overseas until the end of August.
