Some people are fortunate enough to have access to CR across multiple platforms. Which is great, I love that CR supports as many devices as possible - very customer friendly and a great way to reduce piracy.

However, if you watch CR on many devices trying to keep up with the latest build and forthcoming updates is very cumbersome. Not really a big deal when everything is running smoothly but when an app is having problems that is another story. I'll use the Roku app as an example because it has had a buffering problem lately, a problem that will be resolved in the next Roku app update per Bjaker. Many people have been experiencing buffering issues with the Roku app. I was also having these issues but I had to search the site for a while to figure out what was going on. Not to mention the time I spent testing my other apps, checking my router, etc.

Anyway, It would be great if there was a page, widget, or an area on the News page that displayed pertinent information for each of CR's apps. Something along these lines:



Maybe if people clicked on or mouse-over the "status" there could be details like, "Known buffering issue" or "Some users experiencing login difficulties." If it's a persistent or widespread problem Mods could link directly from the status page to an existing thread on the issue.

I really appreciate how well customer service is handled on the site but a status page/column would save time and effort for users and Mods.

Edit: Figured out why it took so long for me to find the Roku forum. For some reason the subjects listed under "Help!" were not appearing when I clicked the arrow. Still would like some form of quick reference status box though.
