I'm from Kansas City.

How's Canada treating you? I had an old forum buddy (different forum) who lived in Quebec (iirc). He didn't like it too much.

Canada is fine, I suppose. The city I'm in borders the US city of Detroit, so you can probably imagine all the bad things we get from there Other than that, I have no complaints. Great place to live.

Never heard the term "the D" used before, except for more crass implications. Guessing you mean in December? Being so far south, we really don't get snow until around January, and even then it's only a few inches high. Can't say I know what it's like further north, but I have relatives in Barrie that say they often get several feet of snow. Glad I don't live there xD

That's a good place to be if you like anime. Are you near Funimation HQ?

I'm so near Funimations original HQ, that my first anime was a dub'ed VHS of Dragonball Curse of the Blood Rubies. I think living near the FUnimation HQ really helps in how much I was influenced by Anime. And so you all know, you're not suposed to watch Dragonball Z "cuz it's a good show"
You watch Dragonball Z because it continued on Dragonball. IT's just the natural evolution of things. BTW, wtf is with the 80's and the letter Z? We have Dragonball Z, Zeta and Double Zeta Gundam.

Which I still own the VHS tape from...it's at my Grandma's house, cuz she still has a shelf of second-hand VHS. Including Quest for Camelot, The Thief and the Cobbler, Batman the Animated Series Riddler episodes(2 count) and three Land before Time movies, numbered 2, 3, and 4.

Oh, and about 4 pokemon VHS"s, and about 3 years worth of VHS's where my grandpa recorded Cartoon network, but stopped recording during commercials, most of the time.

But yeah, I started Anime with Curse of the Blood Rubies, HOW DEEP IN IT ARE YOU?

at least it's not Virginia.

I hate that place, and it has nothing to do with being stuck there driving through for a full day lost in the rain with those damn mountains everywhere.

I don't live near mountains, I find them giant walls of annoying. It's like someone threw me into the world of Oblivion or Skyrim up there, and I don't have the ability to wall walk.
