Senyuu 2 appears to be continuing to air into the fall season but check back to this post later in the season when I have more up to date information on the length of that show

If that's a quality that prevents a show from being voted on this time around, shouldn't Monogatari Second Season be taken off the list?

No, monogatari is fine. Only because it's gonna to run long airing on CR because Daisuki streamed it during its original air date. Only show that are 24-26 episodes that going into the fall season will not be eligible.

But Monogatari is going to run into the fall season. It has five arcs: Nekomongatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari , Onimonogatari, and Koimonogatari. Plus a recap episode at the end of each arc, allegedly.

Best Story:
Winner: Uchoten Kazoku (The Eccentric Family)- although it seems pretty simple at first, the story is actually pretty complex. It interests me a lot as well.
Runner up: Sunday Without God The story is actually pretty interesting. I kinda got a shock from episode 3, but I wanted to see if it was going to get any better. Overall, it was decent.
Best Animation:
Winner: Free! It's by KyoAni, so what do you expect? Though I was wondering if they would pull this off, but the animation was done quite well.
Runner up: Gatchaman Crowds God, those Gatchaman designs are so cool. And Hajime and her scissors. I can never get enough of them.
Best OP:
Winner: Watamote- 'Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui' by Konomi Suzuki n' Kiba of Akiba I've never watched this (mostly because I read the manga and got bored with it pretty easily) but I didn't expect a song like that to be the opening theme. It's very catchy though.
Runner up: Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA- 'starlog' by ChouCho I love anything sung by ChouCho. End of story.
Best ED:
Winner: Free! - 'SPLASH FREE!' by STYLE FIVE I took this a joke at first, but it's actually pretty catchy. I never expected the voices of the main cast to go so well together. Although the lyrics make me giggle a little.
Runner up: Attack of Titan - 'great escape' by cinema staff Not only is it catchy, it suits Attack on Titan pretty well.
Best Comedy:
Winner: Servant x Service This never failed to make me laugh. Such a weird and wonderful bunch of characters.
Runner Up: Love Lab Again, a weird and wonderful bunch of characters. Although I have to admit Servant x Service made me laugh more.
Best Action:
Winner: Gatchaman Crowds Like I said before, their hero suits are so cool. The villain is a little creepy, but hey, it was still good.
Runner Up: Attack on Titan Didn't watch a lot of action anime this season.
Best Drama/Slice of Life:
Winner: Free! It's pretty relaxing to watch. I didn't actually expect it be, and the characters are pretty fun to watch.
Runner up: Uchoten Kazoku (The Eccentric Family) This one never fails to amaze me. Not only are the characters interesting, but the way the interact with each other also surprises me.
Best Short Series (3-5 minutes episode length):
Winner: Senyuu 2 Because it's the only one I've watched and it's pretty funny.
Runner up: None
Best Male Character:
Winner: Yutaka Hasabe (Servant x Service) This guy is hilarious. Seriously, even though he can do everything he still can't ask :Lucy for her email address. Poor guy, although it's funny to watch.
Runner up: Rei Ryugazaki (Free!) Butterflies. Butterflies everywhere.
Best Female Character:
Winner: Hajime Ichinose (Gatchaman Crowds) She's quite unique in her own way. Not to mention she's adorable.
Runner up: Megumi Chihaya (Servant x Service) At first you think she's the normal one, but she's really not.
Best of Summer 2013:
Winner: Uchoten Kazuku (The Eccentric Family) This was one of the surprises this season. It blew me away, but I can honestly say that I really enjoyed this.
2nd Place: Gatchaman Crowds A rather unique setting, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
3rd Place: Free! It's actually a lot better than some people might say.

I watched 10 series this season so I tried to give each one at least one spot somewhere in these awards lol Runner Ups are 2nd place and Honorable Mentions are 3rd place

Best Story: Sunday Without God
Sunday Without God got Best Story because the idea of God abandoning the world and what the outcome was was really interesting.
Runner Up : Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist
Honorable Mention : Dog & Scissors

Best Animation: Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club
Free! got Best Animation because it's KyoAni at its best. Everything was clear, smooth and the colors were bright and vivid. Plus.....that fanservice and water animation ^__^.
Runner Up : Sunday Without God
Honorable Mention : The Eccentric Family

Best Opening: "Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui!" by Konomi Suzuki and Kiba (Watamote OP)
Watamote got Best Opening because.....well.....have you heard this opening?! It's of no surprise that this one won lol.
Runner Up : "Believe My Dice" by Devils and Realist (Takuya Eguchi, Takuma Terashima, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Tetsuya Kakihara)(Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist OP)
Honorable Mentions : "Birth" by Eri Kitamura (Sunday Without God OP) and "Rage On" by OLDCODEX (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club OP)

Best Ending: "Splash Free" by STYLE FIVE (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club ED)
Free! got Best Ending because I loved the concept and meaning behind the visuals of the opening, plus the song was SO amazing!
Runner Up : "Great Escape" by Cinema Staff (Attack on Titan ED #2)
Honorable Mentions : Owaranai Melody wo Utaidashimashita" by Mikako Komatsu (Sunday Without God ED) and "Que Sera, Sera" by fhana(The Eccentric Family ED)

Best Comedy: Watamote
Watamote got Best Comedy because I found myself laughing the most while watching this one out of all the anime I watched this season.
Runner Up : Silver Spoon
Honorable Mention : N/A

Best Action: Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist
Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist got Best Action because I found there to be more battle scenes than out of any other anime I watched this season.
Runner Up : Attack on Titan
Honorable Mention : Blood Lad

Best Drama/Slice of Life: Silver Spoon
Silver Spoon got Best Slice of Life because it really was slice of life about agriculture life and farming and I really learned a lot from watching it.
Runner Up : The Eccentric Family
Honorable Mention : Brothers Conflict

Best Short Series (3-5 minute episode length): N/A
Runner Up : N/A
Honorable Mention : N/A

Best Male Character: Makoto Tachibana (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club)
Makoto Tachibana got Best Male Character because he is one of the best characters I have seen in a LONG time. He is so kind, caring, compassionate about helping others, a best friend, friendly, a great leader, and lets not forget cute! Most anime guys nowadays are pretty much stereotypical or assholes, but Makoto is neither of the two and that's why he is the best male character of the season.
Runner Up : Eren Jaeger (Attack on Titan)
Honorable Mention : Yuugo Hachiken (Silver Spoon)

Best Female Character: Tomoko Kuroki (Watamote)
Tomoko Kuroki got Best Female Character because who doesn't love Tomoko?!
Runner Up : Ai Astin (Sunday Without God)
Honorable Mention : Gou Matsuoka (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club)

Best of Summer 2013: Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club
Free! got Best of Summer 2013 because I really think it deserves it. With all the hate it seems to get by mostly guys about the fanservice and just haters in general, Free! is a lot more than just fanservice and swimming. The animation was KyoAni at it's best with that water animation, all the characters are likable and lovable (except Rin lol ^^"), the music is lighthearted and catchy, the ending was the best of the season, and just the overall enjoyment while watching each and every episode was enough to win the Overall Best for Summer 2013 to me. This is definitely a series that will stay close and dear to my heart. Just amazing!!! "See you next summer"! ;D
Runner Up : Sunday Without God
Honorable Mentions : Silver Spoon and The Eccentric Family

***These are subject to change as series begin to end for the summer 2013 season***

***Attack on Titan didn't win much this season because I still consider it a Spring 2013 Anime Series, so I left most, if not all, categories and spots for the actual new summer anime. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Attack on Titan fan, but I made it fair for the new series this season***

I guess then it would really depend on how long the extra episodes end up being. If they are short with only 4 episodes then I will keep it as being eligible but if it has more episodes, like 12, then I will make it not eligible.

Best Story: Attack on Titan
What can I say, the show's not the best thing I've seen, but I still liked it a lot. Deserves the hype more than most shows that get tons of it. Plus, I still have tons of shows to watch from this season that fall into this category (Sunday without God, Danganronpa, etc.)

Best Animation: Attack on Titan
I know it's kind of overused, but the animation in this show deserves the praise. As a video editor, I notice the quality in this thing every time I make a video with scenes from it. Smooth frame-rate, amazing attention to detail, and beautiful 3D pan-zooms make this easily the best animation of the summer season (even though it started in fall).

Best OP: The World God Only Knows III
I don't know why, but I always love TWGOK openings. It just has an epic feel to it, and the techy feel. It made the season twice as hyped for me, which can't be said about most openings.

Best ED: Servant x Service
This is the only ED of the season that made it to my iTunes. It's just easy to listen to and puts me at ease. I don't really have many enjoyable endings from the season, so this is the only one that stood out to me.

Best Comedy: Love Lab
The show wasn't roll on the ground kind of funny, but sit-com kind of funny. Most of the comedies this season weren't that outstanding, but this one I looked forward to each week and consistently enjoyed for its humor. Close call on this category though.

Best Action: A Certain Scientific Railgun S
Not the most action of the season, but I liked it for some reason. Index/Railgun always has a unique kind of action, one of the main reason I love the series. Plus, to be honest, I'm a huge sucker for some Accelerator action XD

Best Drama/Slice of Life: The World God Only Knows III
Before this arc, I was lukewarm about the series. Then after catching up with the manga, this arc really stood out as being serious and made it feel like a great return on my investment of time in the series. I have a thing for series that start out kind of slow and grow on you, so this show is exactly what I was looking for. That concert scene tho.

Best Short Series (3-5 minutes episode length): No Vote (didn't watch any)

Best Male Character: Keima Katsuragi (The World God Only Knows III)
This is the first time I've seen real character development in him, or at least some semblance of it. It would be nice to see some more in the future, since he has lots of room for improvement. Other than that, he does his job well and is a boss at it, although it can make him seem like a douchebag at times.

Best Female Character: Misaka Mikoto (A Certain Scientific Railgun S)
Why not?

Best of Summer 2013: Attack on Titan
Whatever, I don't need to put much explanation into this. The show kept up the suspense like none other, and the action was rewarding. Plus, it was one of the only shows that didn't care about killing people off. I love death. Nuff said. XD

Even though the voting ends tomorrow, I'll probably still update this if any of them change my mind. Just cause I can.
