Technically all under the Christianity tree should hate anything to do with Science, and it is incorrect for any to thank the Nameless One for anything scientific, according to them it punished all of existence for eating that "fruit", which if you ask me, would have had to actually have been meat. Thus when they do give thanks for such things, they are actually giving credit to what they call Satan.

Ever since the Enlightenment, there has been much prejudice against the Church. Faithful people became branded as ignorant and tied to dogma. Yet, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance featured very many great scientists who were also clerics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Roman_Catholic_cleric%E2%80%93scientists. Also, a work titled The Victory of Reason by Rodney Stark also gives copious evidence that Christian attitudes toward knowledge led to advances in technology and scientific understanding during the Middle Ages. Even the scientific method of experimentation and hypothesis has its roots in Christian theology, where theologians would publish their ideas and have them examined by their peers. Even St. Thomas Aquinas, now regarded as the Catholic Church's greatest theologian, had his ideas so hotly debated during his time that certain clerics branded him a heretic!

But, Satan is a good for nothing. He's "a liar and the father of lies." On the other hand, God, the source of all truth, created the world and all scientific law. As a matter of fact, Christians believe that every created thing is good and in some way reflects certain attributes God has in perfection. So, by learning about the world, one comes to understand God better.

I will start off by saying "do not quote me on this" but I have watched a documentary on the christian religion and historians go through the history and evolution of the church. Hell was not there from the start and was created by the church, the historians believed that it was used to keep belief strong with the use of fear.

You are actually right. I never believed in hell as a place down there burning with little demons everywhere awaiting for the sinners to torture them for eternity. That tale was invented by the Roman Catholic church. In the original language Hell or Sheol is death. Once a person dies, his/her soul ceases to exist and it will be remembered no more. For true believers, the thought of being forgotten by God is the worst punishment. That's why the Bible refers to it as a place of suffering and eternal damnation...since that's what it is for true believers but it is not a place where you are tortured for eternity.

No soul is in heaven until the end of the world comes, along with the destruction of satan and then God will revive the souls of the people He chose and take them to heaven with Him which is referred to as "a new heaven and a new earth" but those who are not saved will simply be forever gone.

So if that were true then humans could have technically done terrible deeds and not gone anywhere but heaven before Lucifer became a fallen angel? ~_~

Some poor story telling plot holes if I do say so myself.

What I wrote above explains that plot hole. No human soul is in heaven(except for Abraham, Moises etc) now and hell is just eternal sleep (Death). Lucifer (this name is not in the original scriptures) or Satan has no forgiveness from God so he's just waiting for his destruction (while reigning on earth because he was cast out of heaven down to earth).

How? Free will was a gift given to humans not angels. Angels can do nothing without god pulling the strings.
So the devil can only do what he was told. he has no choice. So the devils miss deeds them selves can be only the work of someone else who is controlling him. who could that be? Ho has the power and free will to control an angel? ((GOD)) maybe!

Think about it.

All I can think about is that maybe there is no "god" and there is no "DEVIL ( or Lucifer)" I think that there is only GOOD and EVIL. civilization has created GOD and DEVIL in their heads. They created GOD for the GOOD ( OR THEIR BELIEFS ON WHAT'S GOOD) and EVIL for BAD (OR THEIR BELIEFS ON WHAT'S BAD). I don't really think we should think about it too much. There is just GOOD and EVIL, PERIOD.
